Chapter 206: Wrath
~Mash B. POV~
[Romania, Tepes Territory, Fullmoon Village]
Everyone in the village gasped in shock and fear. We were the only ones who weren't affected by the deaths of the vampires. I stared at the vampire's remains and spat at them in pure disgust.
Filthy bloodsuckers. But soon I was out of my shock as I felt a hand over my shoulder. Looking at the owner of the hand, I could see that it was a woman from the inn. She was looking at me with no expression on her face and demanded from us, "Come with me, now."
I let her as I was still confused about what the bloodsucker said and the reaction of the villagers. I had questions, a lot of questions even though I feared I already knew the answer and that it would be one I would hate.
She took one of her free rooms and looked at me with no expression on her face. Ryuko having enough of her stare opened her mouth to say something, but she intervened before she could, "Tell me, both of you. What is your name."
I looked at her in confusion, but I answered her nonetheless in a neutral tone, "Mash Bastion and she's Ryuko Matoi."
Soon she spoke in a simple tone eyeing us intently of what we did, "Right my name is Cath, anyway both of you shouldn't have done what you did."
She said simply causing Ryuko to shout in a shocked tone angrily clenching her fist while I remained calm, "What?! Killing those bastards!! They were going to take these women and kids and were going to hurt them! We had to do something!"
But when she replied she spoke with no emotion in her tone of voice, "Yes, they were going to hurt them but is perfectly normal for this village."
Ryuko looked at her in astonishment. But I gathered that it was a common occurrence but asked in a curious morbid tone, "Normal? What do you mean by normal? This village may be part of the Tepes territory but it is forbidden to hurt someone from your territory especially if it's a village full of humans…"
I stopped as it clicked in my head. If it was a village full of humans… my words seemed to have cracked her emotionless mask laughing full of anger and despair as she looked at me intently asking in a serious tone, "Hahahaha!! You just figured it out boy… look at my eyes and tell me what do you see?"
Gazing at her eyes brown turned into a weak red color as I said in realization, "You're a Damphyr."
She shook her head as she explained in a neutral tone staring into my eyes, "Dhampir? No, that I am not. My grandmother was one, but I only have a quarter of dhampir blood."
Her answer made me realize something; it was obvious now when I thought about it. Ryuko on the other hand had her eyes widened asking in a conflicted tone, "Then…. All the people here… they…?"
She only nodded confirming they had inhuman blood flowing in their bodies. My anger and frustration showed in my tone as I asked her, "What is this village? Please tell me…"
Her expression softened as she started to explain to us. According to her, it started a few centuries ago when vampires hunted humans the rules prevented them from doing as they pleased even sending an Angel to deal with them.
But it was then they found a loophole of the Unwritten Rules as they started kidnapping a dozen human women, and a few other supernatural races needing diversity much to my disgust for these bloodsuckers needing a different variety of food.
Ryuko asked having a pale expression as I already knew the answer, "W-What did they do these people?"
She said in anger and her clenched fist going into detail how the vampires raped and impregnated them, all of them. After that the woman gave birth to the dhampirs the nobles hid the woman and their offspring for decades so that no factions would hear of what they'd done and when the children reached adulthood, they killed the mothers and created this village of victims.
A village that would serve as a feeding place for the vampires, the people here were treated as cattle, slaves, and toys even though some of them were their children. I was repulsed by every word she said, and my anger grew.
The vampires here hate other races and even their children if they had human blood but to think this would go this far. And the Church knowing this turned a blind eye because they weren't human just learning the people we killed were this month's hunting party.
All I did was shake in anger. Many times, I told myself I'm no hero but hearing this just made my blood boil I stopped shaking as Cath the woman of the inn put her hands over my shoulders sadly thanking me, "You should leave. Both of you. There is nothing you can do for us. We were doomed centuries ago and we will be doomed for centuries more. But… thank you for trying."
And then she left without another world as we were left in silence. Ryuko gritted her teeth as she gazed at me knowing what course of action in a serious tone, "Those fucking monsters…! Mash, you know what we're gonna do?"
Her teeth were gritting as was mine taking the time to adjust my emotions and spoke in a cold tone of the Tepes Clan, "Most certainly… Ryuko I know I'm not a violent person. Nor am I a hero at times but… we're going to attack the Tepes Castle. But I need you to collect an important person that will harm the Tepes Faction indefinitely."
She had her eyes hardened listening to my words. Ryuko nods her head eyes narrowing trusting me in my plans in a serious tone, "We will show those monsters who are really the prey and who are truly the predator. Tell me what me and Senketsu must do?"
I grinned as I explained what she needed to do and followed my plan. I quickly go over what she needs to do and what I'll do fighting a whole faction… I even had the idea of summoning the Heroic Spirit Vlad himself to join.
But no... these bloody bats sin of being their thirst for power over the weak. If that's the case then I'll grant them what they want...
I'll give them a feast they'll never forget. Once where they become the apex predator for tonight they'll be animals for the slaughter against my Demon Beast...

~Third POV~
[That Night, Romania, Tepes Territory, Tepes Castle]
Entering through his castle's eerie silence the passing thought of Vlad Tepes the IV, the current leader of the Tepes Faction narrowed his eyes, 'Something is wrong… the castle is too quiet…'
He alongside 2 of his most trusted subordinates. Ferid Bathory [The Gourmet] and Crowley Eusford [The Fallen Crusader] came back from negotiating between other vampire clans. He wished to build a large enough army to defeat the Camilia Faction in an angry tone thought, 'As if I would yield to some little girl taking my throne!'
The Tepes Faction is a Male-dominated Vampire Faction ruled by the Tepes Vampire royal family. The current leader and King of the faction is the 4th King Of Tepes Faction; King Tepes of the House of Tepes.
In the past when the Pure-Blooded Vampires quarreled over who should inherit the position of the true Vampire, several houses allied with the House of Tepes, as they supported the House of Tepes, becoming the leading power among Vampires, giving birth to the Tepes Faction, which began to quarrel with the newly formed Carmilla Faction over the right to inherit the position as the leader of Vampires.
The Carmilla Faction is a Female-dominated Vampire Faction ruled by the Carmilla Vampire royal family. The current leader and Queen of the faction is Queen Carmilla of the House of Carmilla.
In the past when the Pure-Blooded Vampires quarreled over who should inherit the position of the true Vampire, several houses allied with the House of Carmilla, as they supported the House of Carmilla becoming the leading power among Vampires, giving birth to the Carmilla Faction, which began to quarrel with the newly formed Tepes Faction over the right to inherit the position as the leader of Vampires.
Their conflicts were mostly political along with a few skirmishes, until the Tepes Faction got hold of the Longinus; [Sephiroth Graal], which they used to enhance their soldiers, and as time went on slowly, they started to overwhelm the Carmilla Faction.
Vlad's anger boiled as he thought of that possibility, but he pushed it to the back of his mind when he noticed that there were no guards at the entrance or any hallways. The closer he went to the throne room he saw the signs of battle.
Holes through the castle walls, slash marks across the floors, and mountains of dust remained of the Vampires under his charge. His expression was shadowed as an intruder was in the castle and assumed said intruder was a holy light user.
Holy Light was one of the greatest weaknesses any true vampire has. The tiniest amount could kill a weaker vampire. However, he wasn't afraid of this intruder in the slightest as he rid himself of the weakness of light.
After his daughter, Valerie Tepes, manifested the Longinus; [Sephiroth Graal], he along with his son Marius Tepes, had Valerie use it to strengthen the Vampire soldiers of the Tepes Faction as they hope to engage the Carmilla Faction in a civil war known as the Vampire Civil War soon.
But that wasn't all nearly making his weakness to Holy Light cease to exist he was also the strongest of Vampires, so he doubted the intruder. There were very few holy light users who could threaten him and most of them couldn't do anything to him or risk a war which the Church didn't want.
Unfortunately for him, he had to encounter the one traveler that managed to piss him off enough to not care…
*BOOOOOOM*
As he got closer to the throne room a cold sweat started to form on his as he felt an immense number of [Bloodlust] at the other end of the room. Yet he pushed on, not willing to let this intruder enter his castle as he owned it, he spoke nearly growling, "Not on my pride as a king demands."
Crowley had his weapon at the ready to help his king in a serious tone, "Your grace…"
King Vlad Tepes IV spoke in a serious tone his gaze narrowed at the door ahead with his expression murderous, "I know Crowley. Whoever entered my castle and killed my guards will face justice by my hands."
Crowley nodded his head but asked about Ferid's grinning expression in a curious tone, "I understand. Though Ferid, why are you smiling?"
Ferid said with a cruel smile on his face nodding to his friend Crowley in a curious tone drawing his weapon, "I'm just imagining who could have the balls to attack us and I can't wait to see their face filled with despair as we sucked their blood and left nothing in the body."
Vlad opened the doors to the throne room and saw the intruder. A human if the scent of his blood is any indication of the intruder's species. Having a white suit, black hair, and golden eyes calmly looking bored in a judging tone spoke his voice laced with arrogance, "It's about time you mongrels came. Here I was about to leave feeling bored you cowards wouldn't show you filthy animals."
Vlad's eyes twitched at his naming them inferior to animals as he roared out loud in an arrogant tone, "You dare sit on my throne?!!! The symbol of the King of Vampires seated upon a lowly human!! The arrogance – "
However, Vlad's rants were interrupted by the young man yawning in a bored tone looking down on them crossing one leg over the other, "Ahhh… oh? Did I interrupt your self-important monologue? Sorry about that but I heard one already today. A young vampire wore a fancy hat and did a similar monologue. Being a whiney bitch, I offed him. You can have his hat though."
*Swooosh*
The intruder threw down the 'supposed' hat to Vald's feet and their eyes widened. At their feet was the crown's next heir his son Darious Tepes. But if that wasn't enough the intruder also dropped the decapitated head of a beautiful face like a doll with an expression of terror with his head conditioned as if someone ate him alive.
Vlad's eyes widened seeing the head belonging to Marius Tepes his other son with the man gloating in a gleeful tone, "I had a much better time feeding my Demon Beast [Great Rabbit] as rabbit food. The look of terror on his face when my Demon Beast ate that rapist little brother and through the rectum… it was truly a fitting end for such animals like you."
Vlad was shaking violently as he lost two heirs to the throne of the Tepes Clan. Leaving only the mixed blood the true heir made his blood boil in anger and humiliation.
*SWOOOOOSH*
Soon all three rushed to attack with Vlad in his dark state roaring in anguished, "NOW DIE – "
*GLOOOP*
*CRUNCH*
But in that instant, a black-serpent-like predator instantly devoured the 3 Ultimate Class Vampires in place as they began thrashing trying to break free. However, when they tried to break free something interesting occurred when their body touched the black serpent.
One can see their bones and flesh piercing out of the beast but in an instant said pieces of flesh were scarred with reddish black burns, another had their skin from the neck up covered in reddish black spots that gushed black blood, and another had their body dried up to the point that touching them might break their body apart.
In a matter of seconds, the limbs crumbled to dust with Mash the intruder grinning and looking amused in a neutral tone, "I apologize animals but my Great Demon Beast, [Black Serpent] isn't something you can just get out from. You'll die simply by touching its potent poisons known to plague its victims with a hundred diseases just by touching them, and any ground that it slithers over is cursed, making anything except Demon Beasts unable to live on it."
Mash soon stood up stretching his body he coldly smiled as his [Black-Serpent] stood by his side along with the [Great Rabbits] chirping in the shadows and said seriously, "Let this be a lesson you filthy bloodsuckers. You have enraged me with your foul acts and your sins shall be punished by blood. Go my Demon Beast attack any male bloodsuckers and devour them whole."
*Cheep*
*Glob*
The Demon Beast [Black-Serpent] and [Great Rabbit] nodded following their master's command. They attacked any remaining Noble Vampire Lords of the Tepes Faction without mercy heeding their creator's commands.
Sitting on the empty throne stained with the blood of the male vampires Mash simply scoffs at the death he brought with a cold expression harboring no remorse for his actions in a cold tone, "Tch. My only regret would be not summoning the [Great Whale] to erase them. Sadly, till Gear Eyes find her such action is unnecessary. Such annoyance."
He simply closed his eyes as the cries of pain and screams could be heard. A transparent cage of [Bounded Field] trapped those inside with their fates sealed to be killed by poison or devoured alive leaving nothing behind but death.
