Trapped in darkness, my heart pounded with fear as I struggled against my captors. Every instinct screamed for me to fight, to break free from the hands that held me captive. But despite my efforts, I soon realized that resistance was futile.
The voices of my assailants echoed around me, their words cold and menacing as they restrained me with a firm grip.
They shoved me inside somewhere, and I heard a car door slam shut.
"Don't make this difficult, Love. We don't want to hurt you before the boss has the chance to meet you," crooned a gruff voice.
My breath caught in my throat as the gravity of the situation sank in.
"I won't go down without a fight," I vowed silently, though I knew the odds were stacked against me.
As the car lurched into motion, I braced myself, my mind spinning.
Was it Aidan's doing? His men kidnapped me once, so why not again?
No, Aidan wouldn't do this now. He would've come and grabbed me himself and not sent his goons after me.
