Carson Flores asked with a face full of curiosity and anticipation. This curiosity was not feigned, as the legends of becoming immortal on Mystical Immortal Island had always intrigued him.
Who wouldn't want to become immortal?
The elder stroked his beard, assuming an aura of immortal presence: "No rush, no rush. When the time comes, the outcome will become clear. Fate for immortality is straightforward; either you have it or you don't. Your anxiety cannot change the result."
Carson Flores nodded, but with a hint of reluctance, he asked, "This island must have seen many visitors over time, right?"
The elder chuckled: "Are you asking if any of the past visitors became immortal?"
Carson Flores nodded: "Yes."
"Of course, there have been. I'm talking about real immortals, not half-immortals like us."
