I look at the massive Oni in front of me and clap my hands. A white smoke appears, and two toads appear on my shoulders. I can feel my Senjutsu get stronger with the two of them connected to me.
"You always summon us in a rough situation."
Pa looks at the massive Oni and grunts.
"Oh, don't be like that, Pa~ You know we need some kind of stimulant with our ordinary lives. Joining a fight every now and then is good for us."
"Maybe you are right, Ma. Let's do this."
The two of them look at me, and I nod my head. I take a deep breath and release a massive torrent of fire at the Oni in front of me—Ma and Pa release oil and wind to enchant my attack. When the three elements touch, it creates a massive torrent of fire that burns anything in its path.
When I am done, I take a Frog Kata stance and jump to the burning Oni. I thrust my fist and hit him in the head. The impact creates a shockwave and throws the massive Oni, who is still burning. I gather my chakra into my right hand and move it in a large amount. I shape it into the jutsu I want. Ma and Pa help me take the shape of the chakra.
"Wind Release: Ultra Ball Rasengan"
A massive ball of chakra appears above my hand, but there is wind spinning around it this time. With a grunt, I throw the ball and watch as my Rasengan expands into a dome of chakra with wind inside of it.
Unlike Rasenshuriken, the wind does not do cellular damage. The wind inside the ball is like a saw blade that moves at a speed of sound, cutting anything in its path.
I watch as my attack disappears and leaves nothing other than a puddle of blood.
"Let's get the one running away. I can feel him. He is moving fast, but we can catch up to him."
I nod and jump to the nearby tree, but before I can jump to another tree, I feel something appear in front of me. I raise my hand and block a punch from my side. I grunt and feel my body get thrown away to the ground.
I immediately jump away when my body lands on the ground. I watch as an Oni appears in front of me, punching the ground and creating a crater from his punch.
The Oni is the shortest one in the group. He is the size of an average human, but his entire body is colored dark blood. If the other builds for pure power and durability, this one builds for speed.
"Kill…You!"
He dashes forward, and I raise my hand to block his attack. Ma and Pa jump and kick him away from me. I dash forward, and I punch him right in the head. The three of us throw a flurry of punches and kicks at the Oni.
The Oni fights for his dear life and even manages to counterattack. He still managed to land a good hit on me. However, he is not a match for the three of us.
Pa kicks him into the air, and Ma punches him into the ground, burying him deep into the earth.
"Ma! I need oil!"
"On it!"
I make a flurry of hand seals and take a deep breath.
"Fire Release: Big Flame Bullet"
"Toad Oil Bullet!"
The two of us release our jutsu and create a greater jutsu. While we maintain our attack, Pa creates a hand seal and slams his hand on the ground.
"Earth Release: Black Swamp!"
The earth moves and traps the Oni before he can run away. When my feet touch the ground, I watch there is nothing left of the Oni. I expand my sensory technique and search for the running Oni.
"Do you still sense him, Ma? Pa?"
"No."
"No. I don't sense him."
"Dammit!"
I shout in frustration and look at two Oni running toward us. I look at them with hatred and say.
"I am pissed. Let's kill them all."

I wipe the sweat off my forehead and say.
"Thank you, Ma. Pa. Do you guys want to stay or go back?"
"I will return back to Mount Myōboku."
"I will follow Ma, Vale."
I look at the big boys who are looking down on me.
"What about you guys?"
Gamabunta grunts and says.
"Bring us back. We need to relax after a fight. Make sure you send at least forty liters of sake to Mount Myōboku."
"I will. I will send the most expensive sake to you guys."
"I will hold to your promise, Vale."
I give them one last nod and watch them disappear in a puff of smoke. I look to the side and see Yasaka is busy talking to one of the Karasu Tengu. I wait for her for a minute before she is done, and I walk toward her.
"How is it, Yasaka? Do you manage to know what kind of thing is in that Oni's hand?"
She shakes her head and releases a sigh.
"Sadly, no. The only thing we know is that the underground vault is old. It is something that was constructed in the Heian Era."
That is a long time. It was already constructed more than a thousand years ago.
"What kind of vault is that? It is so strong that it can even last to this day without the Omnyouji Family knowing about its presence."
"That is what makes me afraid, Vale. There are a few scenarios that make me shudder."
"Tell me one of them."
She looks at me and says,
"The worst one I can think of is that this vault protects the soul of one of the Three Disaster Youkai."
"Like Tamamo no Mae?"
"Yes. However, it is not her. Among the three of them, she has the strongest seal. Someone needs to collect all nine of her soul pieces to reincarnate her, which is impossible because each seal requires a strict and mysterious set of rules to unlock."
"Right. Then which one? Otakemaru or Shuten-douji?"
"The latter. They are the cult that worships Shuten-douji, and this place was the former base of Shuten-douji before his demise."
"How powerful is he?"
Yasaka looks at him and says.
"There is a reason why the three of them are called Three Disasters. He can fight gods but needs a powerful conceptual attack to kill them permanently. There is a reason why we need to seal them instead of killing them."
"Wait. If they only take fragments of Shuten-douji, does that mean they cannot reincarnate them? You need to collect all nine souls of Tamamo, after all."
"The seal is different, Vale. We don't know if the seal that holds Shuten-douji can hold him like it was Tamamo."
"Right."
I release a sigh and say.
"Let's return for now. We need to think of our next step."
