Chapter 36 - Chapter 17: Battle of Yava viskans.

The wind started to settle, but before it settled, Carciyan moved through. Carciyan saw Tlenion a few meters ahead of him. "So you are here. I want…" he said, heading towards Tlenion, but his words couldn't come out. His eyes locked onto Tlenion's eyes, which were fixed on an area, and he became motionless.

Carciyan followed his gaze and was frozen in the same state. A drop of sweat started rolling down his face. "Splash," the drop touched the ground. "What is this?" Carciyan was shocked to see.

Bluish energy was dancing on the battlefield. This energy was glowing in the core of the beasts. Swing, swoosh, clink – sounds exploded in the area. The battlefield overflowed with blood, dust, and chaos, but for them, they both only saw a bright bluish light dancing and its extended ribbon-like weapon completing its performance.

* A few minutes before it started.

A beast's roar filled the entire region. Fallen heroes and those who had a bit of strength left were ready to die for the cause. That bluish energy, which was floating in mid-air, turned towards the source of the roar.

While some of them were trying to motivate others, and the rest were trying to run, that energy was carefully looking towards the herd of beasts.

"Charge!" When people roared and started their death march, it had no choice but to move. That energy rushed towards the core of a beast. Its cracking speed was so powerful that the ground beneath it instantly turned into dust. Such energy created high and low-pressure zones, and hurricane-level winds started to follow out of the impact area.

Wind carrying dust particles flew for at least two minutes, and meanwhile, that energy was massacring beasts in its path. The blade easily cut beasts open, stabbed, and killed them. In a few minutes, more than 100 beasts were killed, and for the audience, it looked like that energy was performing a dance.

All attacks were very precise and confident, ensuring they would reach their target and complete the task. This was the time when Carciyan stood seeing the battle which was unfolding in front of his very eyes.

"What's going on?" Carciyan uttered a single sentence after a long time. Tlenion didn't mutter a thing, just tightened his grip on the handle of his blade.

The beasts' eyes were turning red as time passed. Beasts started roaring, and the strange bluish energy turned towards the source and rushed towards it. But the beasts around it started to attack it; it looked like they were preventing it from moving towards that beast.

"Something is wrong," Tlenion said with worry in his eyes. He pointed towards the herd of beasts attacking that energy.

Carciyan tried to look towards that energy and saw a figure-like thing inside it. Carciyan looked at the beasts who were attacking that energy, and then he looked in the direction that energy was trying to go.

He saw a beast whose body was still, but something was wrong about it. When Carciyan tried to look carefully, he found nothing due to his eyesight but had a very bad feeling when looking towards that beast. Carciyan turned towards Tlenion, who was holding his handle in anger. His hand received a cut, and then he lost his grip a bit.

When Carciyan followed Tlenion's eyes and found himself in the same state, "Does it know that?" Carciyan asked, but Tlenion was holding his blade, ready to charge at any moment.

During their conversation, it had killed ten beasts. Its intention was clear: to kill that particular beast at any cost.

Its blade moved and cut down another beast. The blade it was holding was drenched in blood. That energy reduced a bit and then traveled a few meters, completely ignoring the beasts in its path.

Five beasts blocked its path; their bodies had melted flesh, and corrosive blood was rolling onto the ground between the flesh. That energy looked towards them, and after a brief pause, it started attacking. The blade soon began to corrode under the corrosive nature of those beasts' blood.

That energy looked towards the blade and then started charging towards the herd of beasts. The beasts roared in response and started charging their respective attacks. Razor fangs and claws were covered in their own blood, which was dripping onto the ground, burning even the soil on contact.

One of the beasts fired an energy beam, which that energy dodged at the very last moment. That energy bent to its right to evade the attack. It remained in the same position, and a small portion of its energy moved so that the area's energy and the ground touched each other.

That energy was launched several meters into the air. It spun clockwise, completing half of the circle, and an energy burst occurred. Its speed multiplied, and a semi-solid bluish slash killed the area's beasts diagonally up to a few meters away.

That energy landed on the ground and saw that the blade was fine. "What's that?" Carciyan said, pointing towards the area where the attack had created a deep crack. Black smoke was coming out of that area. That energy had not paid much attention to it but rather started moving closer to that beast, charging its energy.

That energy's speed increased as it moved closer and closer. A few beasts who were too close to dodge were killed with one or two strikes. Razor fangs started to move, and that energy jumped into the air. With an exploding sound, it returned to the ground. Beasts tried to charge their destructive cannons to hit it, but that energy dodged them each time.

When the target returned to the ground, they attacked each other because of that energy's speed. That energy's target was within its range. That energy exploded with another burst of energy and struck that beast down, but something was wrong.

As the beast was falling, the herd of beasts were charging the same energy in their throat area. "Carciyan, now!" Tlenion shouted and rushed towards the herd of beasts. This was the time when the wind finally settled down, and all the remaining people were able to see the battlefield filled with the corpses of beasts.
