After we split up the 4 of us walked for a while. Feeling a odd sense of danger we devised a formation. Me in the front, Kakashi behind me, Rin behind him, and Obito at the back of the line. We walked in this formation for the next 10 minutes. Until I sensed something was wrong. The forest was quiet. Too quiet. I made a handsign and relayed a message to Kakashi. Which he translated to the group.
Obito, instead of charging into battle like he would, was cautious.
Thwip
A person appeared in front of Obito and slashed at him. Obito activated his sharingan and dodged to the left.
'This shinobi. His aura is like the one we fought previously. They are most likely teammates.'
I used my sensory perception jutsu and found another shinobi with a similar aura hiding in a bush like a camper. I pinpointed his location and spat a giant fireball at him. He raised an earth wall and fired a flare while jumping out of his bush. I didn't hesitate at all. I flared my sharingan and ran.
"CHIDORI" I screamed and ran straight at the earth wall. I shattered the earth wall and detonated my chidori resulting in a small explosion of lightning which killed the man after piercing his heart.
{With Team 7}
Kakashi ran forward wielding his father's blade. He tried slicing the shinobi in half but missed. Obito, who copied the chidori, activated it and pierced the invisible man's heart with his hand.
Izuna walked over and the group was about to continue venturing deeper into enemy territory when the bushes rustled. All 4 armed themselves with either a blade or kunai. 3 heads popped out.
"Ryona, Nagano, Shine what are you guys doing here." Izuna asked.
"We were on a mission." Ryona responded
"What about you guys?" Nagano asked
"We're on a mission to destroy kanabi bridge" Obito replied
"Sheesh, you guys got a more dangerous mission than us huh." Nagano exclaimed.
" One more thing, WHAT'S HE DOING HERE?" Nagano said pointing his finger at Izuna "Me? Oh I'm just here to provide backup. I guess Grandpa 3rd finally recognized my power. " Izuna said puffing his chest in pride.
"Ee oo, wrong. You begged Minato sensei to be on this mission." Kakashi revealed while Rin, Obito, Ryona, and Nagano failed to hide their laugh.
"Kakashi, WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU EVEN ON? Izuna asked.
Izuna suddenly went wide eyed and asked. "Wait, How did you guys find us?"
"Flare... signal" Shine replied and went wide eyed. He jumped and dodged a volley of shuriken. More shuriken appeared and a bunch of people appeared.
People no it was a whole army.
"RUN" Obito yelled
*Izuna POV*
The 7 of us started running. We were beng chased by a fucking army.
"Move faster." Nagano grumbled to Shine.
"I'm sorry but the Aburame clan doesn't specialize mobility." Shine said
"Can't you use your bug cloud jutsu?" Ryona asked
"No, I don't have that kind of mastery over it. I can carry at most 4 people." Shine said
"I'll try to hold them off" Obito said
"No" Izuna interjected
[Shadow clone jutsu]
Obito made a shadow clone which turned around and ran in the direction of the enemies. Not before saying "Goodbye Obito"
"Obito, what was with that dramatic line?" Nagano asked
"I dunno but I think we should RUN FASTER" Obito said taking off.
They all ran. soon catching up with Obito.
BOOM
"Obito nee, are you carrying paper bombs?" Izuna asked
"No.." Obito replied
"THEN WHAT WAS THAT EXPLOSION? IT HAS YOUR CHAKRA SCENT ALL OVER IT!" Izuna screamed
""Baka/Idiot"" Rin and Ryona muttered.
"Not so loud Izuna" Shine said quietly
"Oopsie daisie" Izuna said with a goofy grin on his face
BOOM
Izuna was hit with a bunch of KI and a water bullet that sent him tumbling.
