Chapter 86 - Inner You

"Within my mind palace, I can visualize everything I have ever witnessed, heard, observed, theorized or even imagined.

Nothing escapes from me, nothing, except for you, Mr.Wright." Kibe thought as he looked up to see Brandon sitting across from him in a clear white room. The windows along the walls were decorated with flora, and some birds perched upon the windowsill. Brandon would be sitting on his own chair, crouched as he looked as Kibe picked up a cup of tea.

"Seems you've bested me...for now." Brandon said.

"...I'll take that as a sign you'll be back." Kibe replied as he took a sip of his tea. "What do you think?" Brandon asked.

"...To be honest? As much as I've been able to plan around you and predict what you may or may not do. Your stunt with Kat put me in quite a predicament. Fortunately enough, I was anticipating Kat's betrayal from the moment we met.

It was only a matter of time." Kibe said as then two arms wrapped around his neck and he felt something rest on his shoulders.

"Oh Kibey Wibey, you must have known that I wouldn't be able to resists. You were just far too trusting." said Kat. "Quite the opposite actually." Kibe said.

"Ouch, your hurting my feelings. Can't you be more gentle with me?" Kat snickered. Kibe took one final sip from his tea before he then looked past Brandon and out the window which showed Himmy's old bedroom. She was hiding under her bed.

"...You know I'll never be able to get inside your head. For all of my reasoning and foresight, I had to resort to thinking of you as nothing more than a animal." Kibe said, but Kat simply stared at Kibe with a wide smile.

"But even that wasn't enough, cause your not a animal. You still think somewhat rationally right? You still have to use some form of logic don't you? Or am I lying to myself to makeup for the fact of how close of a victory that was?

...Yes, I am. Himmy's life was on the line. It still is now, they have her name and she can't be kept here with me forever. Just like Bato, it seems you've put me into a bit of a corner." Kibe said as he stood up from his seat with Kat beginning to laugh to herself. Brandon just watched. Kibe then spun around and grabbed Kat by her neck and lifted her up, but she was unfazed, still getting a few chuckles out.

"Heheheh GUK! AHAHAHAAA!" Kat laughed

"You may have put me in a bit of a bind, you may even tell them that it was all me from the start. Unfortunately for you though, your a liar, a manipulator and a killer. You would do anything to get another rush.

So you'll likely tell them and if you don't that means your rush can only be done through this. Our meeting again. When we do meet again, I'll take care of you once for all." Kibe said as he then watched Kat laugh as he then dropped her, her body falling to the ground with a thud leading to Kibe to wake up in his bed with a book over his head. He sat up and sighed.

Elsewhere in a limo, Bato, Junna and Piko. All of them making their way to one of Japan's prisons. They'd then leave the vehicle and proceed to walk into the jail. "I'm guessing we're here for something, but your not going to tell us are you?" Piko asked. Bato simply continued to move as he carried a small briefcase with him.

"Quiet." Junna said, Piko looked at her with an annoyed look before facing forward again. In the jail, deep within it in the weight training room, guarded by arms guards would be men built ox's. Some were using dumbbells and others were simply flexing or stretching. During the entire time classical music was being played. A man in a white coat would walk into the gym with a folder and note before then handing it to one of the guards in the gym. The guard looked at it before speaking-

"Bo Kalhim! Someone is here to see you." shouted the guard, and in the distant part of the gym. Bato would be punching at a wall with his wrapped fists, his head then turning to the guard.

It would be shortly after that Bo would be taken to the room where guest were allowed to talk with inmates. As he entered he would see Bato and Piko sitting down across the table with Junna with her arms crossed in the back. The guard would close the door behind Bo as he walked inside. Bato stared at Bo as he walked forward and pulled out a chair.

"I don't know you." Bo said.

"You will. Ojima Bato. Its a pleasure. I heard about what you did at Sawa High and your kidnapping of the previous detective Brandon Wright and someone else, someone by the name of-

Nori Kibe." Bato said as he extended his hand to Bo, Bo looked at him and then his hand before shaking it.

"Your quite the built guy huh? All muscle. No brains." Piko said. Bo folded his arms. "This bitch yours?" Bo asked.

"W-, What the hell did you say asshole?!" Piko shouted before Bato put a hand on her shoulder and then placed her back in her seat.

"Now now, theres no need for name calling. I'm sure we can be civilized and still get work done." Bato said but Bo just scoffed before looking out the barred window in the room.

"I'm aware of your previous employer, and the tasks he had you do. Awful lot of work for someone and little pay." Bato said as he then slid a folder to Bo. Bo looked at the folder and took a peak inside, inside were photos of him and the men he had with him during the day he took Kibe and Brandon. Bo then closed the folder before looking to him.

"The detectives and that Kibe guy already caught me, I'm in the slammer in case you haven't noticed. 80 years to life they gave my ass. What is showing me this supposed to do? Make me jump into your lap for doing your research?" Bo asked. Bato chuckled and then leaned back.

"Heh, no. I just want you to know that I'm able to get things many aren't." Bato said, thats when Bo would remember the fact that his files and everything about his crime were never leaked to the public. "Who is this guy?" Bo thought as he looked up to Bato who was giving him a cold smile. A smile that held all intent and yet still showed signs of something...what that was? It was unclear to him.

"...What do you want?" Bo asked.

"I want your services. You clearly are capable in many facets, someone would even say...uncanny? I'm looking for someone like that." Bato answered. Bo just looked at Bato for a moment before answering.

"Theres a lot that would need to be done to get me out of here. Not just a couple of bucks." Bo said. Bato smirked.

"You believe in the possibility of human evolution? The idea or theory to some, of being capable of evolving past what we estimate to be our prime. Many wish to be released from the mortal coil that God or whatever entity you believe in has shackled you to.

I can offer you, that escape." Bato said. Bo stared at him for a moment, almost unsure how to answer. "...What do you want me to do?" Bo asked.

"I want you to...unplug someone for me." Bato said as he gave a small smile.
