For it was around the time when the old Annan had died and the new Annan was born.
A short while before that was when "Stone Father" had awakened Nicholas II and implanted the family memory in him.
"Drest" translated meant "to erase its light" or "the lightless one." Coincidentally, Isaac was very skilled in manipulating and researching the domain of "light," and Annan himself possessed the Radiant Element; the name itself seemed to imply something.
The Winter Hands had also failed to collect any information about this person.
So, Annan could assume... perhaps he was not even alive. Or at least, he was not an "immortal" who had lived from over a hundred years ago to the present.
If he had not been dormant this entire time, only to be awakened recently.
