The Nort Guard Heavy Cavalry, triumphant all the way, remained spirited and full of morale despite just having gone through a twenty-kilometer charge, thundering forward, and with their long spears and iron hooves informed those foolish Abyssal Jackalweres that they were not the same as the monsters and defeated soldiers ahead, not something that these scattered troops and braves could withstand, sending them all to the Invincible Abyss.
The clash was fierce yet brief, and by the time the monster's defeated army was driven on again, the numbers remained more or less the same, but the makeup of the fleeing forces had changed, with some replaced by Abyssal Jackalweres.
As for those who were replaced, they had now become corpses alongside other Jackalweres, left behind on the ground.
