Inside the temple, the gods convened in a simple meeting. In their collective awareness, Godslayers hadn't appeared for a long while; now that such an existence has emerged, it signifies that new gods will soon rise in the Divine Realm.
The divine order among the old gods will also undergo a reshuffling.
Some of the gods appeared composed, while others seemed deeply uneasy. However, after one of the True Gods spoke that sentence, those who were nervous breathed a sigh of relief.
Among them were the low-rank gods; for a Godslayer, dealing with low-rank gods was hardly challenging, especially since the Godslayer had already slain three gods in succession.
Perhaps the Godslayer had accumulated enough strength and was now preparing to confront mid-rank gods. If that were the case, the low-rank gods would be comparatively much safer.
