Chapter 21 - File MN: "Motivation on Momentum"

As the sun cast its golden rays over the familiar treehouse, Kel, Hero, and Basil gathered around Aubrey and Sunny, eager to hear Sunny's latest design plans. The air was filled with anticipation, a palpable sense of creativity and collaboration as they prepared to discuss the next phase of their project.

Kel, with his usual enthusiasm, leaned in first. "Hey Sunny, what sort of new design magic do you have in store for us today? Your sketches always bring something fresh to the table!"

Hero nodded in agreement, his eyes bright with curiosity. "Yeah, Sunny, your ideas always give us a boost of motivation. I can't wait to see what you've come up with this time."

Basil, ever observant, chimed in with a gentle smile. "Indeed, Sunny. Your designs never fail to inspire. We're all ears for your vision."

With the stage set for creativity to flourish, Sunny took a moment to gather his thoughts, flipping through his sketchbook filled with intricate designs and colorful concepts. It was a moment of shared excitement and anticipation, as they prepared to delve into the world of Sunny's imagination and design expertise.

Aubrey's smile was warm as she flipped open a notebook, revealing sketches and notes from her earlier discussion with Sunny. "We've been brainstorming some ideas," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Sunny had this brilliant concept for incorporating pinwheels around the base of the treehouse, like a whimsical fence. It adds a playful touch and blends perfectly with our nature theme."

Kel's eyes widened with enthusiasm. "Pinwheels? That sounds awesome! It'll give the treehouse such a unique look."

Hero nodded in agreement. "I love the idea! It's creative and fits perfectly with the vibe we're going for."

Basil studied the sketches intently, nodding thoughtfully. "It's a wonderful blend of aesthetics and functionality. Sunny, your creativity never fails to impress."

Sunny beamed with pride, grateful for the positive reception. "Thanks, everyone. I'm excited to bring these ideas to life with all of you."

With the team aligned on the new design plans, they dove into discussions, each contributing ideas and suggestions, building upon Sunny and Aubrey's initial concept. It was a collaborative effort filled with energy and creativity, setting the stage for another exciting phase of their treehouse project.

Then he gestured "Since We have enough 'manpower' with the materials help and done and most of the exterior of the treehouse is done…Guess we can add a tire that's like a swing to the tough tree branch.." As Kel smugly spoke to flex his arm "Ohh? So basically some weight lifting Sunny? It is fun to have a personal swing than just the park….."

Sunny chuckled at Kel's playful remark. "Exactly, Kel! A tire swing would be a fun addition, and it adds a nostalgic touch to our childhood adventures."

Aubrey nodded in agreement. "I love the idea of a tire swing. It'll be a cozy spot to relax and enjoy the view."

Hero joined in with enthusiasm. "And it's perfect for those lazy afternoons when we just want to hang out and unwind."

Basil added, "It's a practical yet charming addition. We can repurpose an old tire, making it eco-friendly too."

With everyone excited about the new plans, they continued to discuss the details and logistics, eager to see their treehouse project evolve into a magical retreat where they could create lasting memories together.

Then , Hero beams as Sunny spoke "Plus , maybe since Hero has more connections with people due to be someone mature out of all of us. He can direct designs for the interior like a mini kitchen so we can do small snacks together…and safe keep a storage for it…"

Sunny's suggestion sparked even more excitement among the group. Hero nodded eagerly. "That sounds fantastic! I can definitely help design a mini kitchen area. It'll be great for us to cook and enjoy meals together right here in our treehouse."

Kel grinned. "Ohh, cooking adventures in our own treehouse kitchen? Count me in! We'll have the best snacks and meals ever."

Basil chimed in, "And having a storage space will keep everything organized and easily accessible. It's all coming together beautifully."

Aubrey added, "I can bring some decorative touches to make the kitchen cozy and inviting. It'll be like a home away from home."

With everyone contributing their ideas and skills, the vision for their treehouse was taking shape into a warm, welcoming space where they could not only play and relax but also create and share special moments together.

Then , they pause as they turn. Kel ask awkwardly first to break the silence "Ohh right Aubrey…how's your time back home when you told your uhh mom that you're hanging out with us? If she recongize us being your old buddies"

Sunny is aware to realize something is off (he almost forgot that back then he recalled Mari told him in their childhood getting to know Aubrey that both her parents were a poor family.

Compared to them living a decent middle class lifestyle) He is unaware for the past 4 years (in some mystery Aubrey's dad left her mom and herself)

Aubrey's smile faltered for a moment before she replied, "Oh, it's okay. Mom understands that we're reconnecting as friends. She's glad to see me spending time with all of you again."

Sunny noticed the subtle shift in Aubrey's expression and wondered if there was more to her family situation than he had known. It sparked a curiosity in him, but he chose not to pry at that moment, respecting Aubrey's privacy. Instead, he redirected the conversation back to the treehouse plans, eager to maintain the positive momentum they had.

Then finally , the last drawn page was when Sunny uttered "A-a-anyway that is all…Just thinking of an extra trapdoor via roof of our treehouse so Basil can maintain the roof like garden looking over…if ever we start that after everything else…"

Sunny's suggestion sparked nods of approval from the group. Hero clapped Sunny on the back, impressed by his innovative ideas. "That's a great plan, Sunny. We'll have the coolest treehouse in the neighborhood!"

Basil, who had been quietly observing, added with a smile, "And a rooftop garden sounds wonderful. I'll make sure it's maintained well."

With everyone excited about the upcoming additions to their treehouse, they continued discussing and finalizing their plans, eager to see their ideas come to life.

Then, as they let Sunny's sketchbook back at his house. Hero , Basil and Aubrey work on what color to pain the exterior and ladder of the treehouse (renovated) thanks to the hooligans hours ago. While Kel was slowly nudged by Sunny. Quietly whispers "Kel can we have a moment?"

Kel turned to Sunny, curious about the sudden request. "Sure, Sunny. What's on your mind?"

Sunny hesitated for a moment before speaking softly. "I just wanted to say thanks, Kel. For being there and for helping with everything, especially with Mari. It means a lot."

Kel grinned, patting Sunny on the back. "Hey, no need to thank me. We're friends, right? And Mari's like family. We stick together through thick and thin."

Sunny nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, we do. Thanks again, Kel."

With their moment shared , they continue having their private conversation.

Then , Kel ask "is there anything else you want to say?" As Sunny hesitated before speaking up "I know we all move on since those past 2-3 days ago since dealing with Aubrey Uhh….anger…and with Basil's Photo Album incident with the lake and all it's just…What else did I miss Kel? I know you already catch me up with her new friends the hooligans and I don't want to pry…like STILL surprise you had a baby sister for your family now umm—"

While Kel Pat Sunny by the shoulder with a soft emphatic tone kneeling down due to his tall height compare to Sunny "Hey bud , It's about Aubrey's current family life right?"

Sunny nods to clarify his intended query.

Kel's empathy was evident as he knelt down to Sunny's level. "Yeah, it's about Aubrey and her family. Things have been tough for her, and I think that's why she's been a bit on edge lately."

Sunny nodded, grateful for Kel's understanding. "Yeah, I noticed too. I just want to be there for her, you know? But I don't want to overstep or make things worse."

Kel gave Sunny a reassuring smile. "You're doing great, Sunny. Just be yourself and keep being there for her. Sometimes, that's all we can do."

With a sense of understanding and determination, Sunny and Kel returned to the group, ready to continue their project and support each other through whatever challenges lay ahead.

Then , Sunny blush as Kel whispered "So what did you tell her yesterday that got you suddenly cuddle a bit?" Unaware that's also the time Sunny confess him actually defacing his own faces of their childhood photos in Basil's Photo Album.

Sunny blushed deeper, caught off guard by Kel's question. "Oh, umm, nothing really. Just... I thanked her for being patient with me and apologized for any trouble I caused. You know, typical stuff."

Kel chuckled, giving Sunny a knowing look. "Sure, buddy. Just don't forget, we're here for you too, no matter what."

Sunny nodded, grateful for Kel's support, even though he kept his confession about the photo album to himself for now.

Hero's enthusiasm was contagious as he waved a handful of color swatches. "Hey, everyone, look! Which color do you think would suit the repurposed treehouse wood the best?"

Aubrey examined the swatches closely, pointing to a soft shade of green. "I think this one would blend nicely with the surrounding foliage and give a natural, earthy feel."

Basil nodded in agreement. "That does sound like a good choice. It'll complement the treehouse's rustic charm."

Kel chimed in, holding up a blue swatch. "What about a splash of color, like this blue? It could add a playful touch."

Sunny smiled, enjoying the lively discussion. "I like both ideas. Maybe we can have a mix of both colors, green for the main structure and blue for accents?"

Hero grinned. "That sounds like a plan! Let's get started on painting and see how it turns out."

With their color scheme decided, the group set to work, turning the treehouse into a vibrant and welcoming space.

Then , Sunny muttered "Pastel violet would be nice.." As Basil ask "what did you just said Sunny? Any additions?"

Sunny blushed a bit, realizing he had spoken his thoughts aloud. "Oh, umm, I just thought pastel violet would be a nice addition, maybe for some details like window frames or trim."

Basil smiled. "That's a creative idea! It could add a touch of elegance to the overall design."

Kel nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, I like it! Pastel violet accents would definitely make the treehouse stand out."

Hero joined in, adding, "It's settled then. We'll incorporate pastel violet along with the green and blue. It'll be a colorful and charming treehouse!"

With their color palette finalized, they began painting, each stroke bringing the treehouse closer to its transformed state.

Aubrey chuckle "Ahh so only SUNNY recalls Mari's fave color" sarcastic tease. As Kel gasp "Right? Was it Violet her favorite color?"

Kel's question makes Aubrey laugh even more. "Nope, it's actually teal. But hey, close enough, Sunny!" She gives Sunny a playful nudge.

Sunny blushes, realizing his mistake. "Oops, my bad. Got a bit carried away there."

Basil chimes in with a smile. "Teal and pastel violet complement each other well. It's a good choice for Mari's treehouse."

With everyone in agreement, they continue painting, their banter adding a light-hearted touch to their collaborative project.

Aubrey whispered "That's sweet though you recall her favorite color being violet."

Sunny gives a subtle nod to agree.

Aubrey playfully winks back at Sunny. "Don't worry, I won't let Kel tease you too much."

Kel insists, still smiling. "Come on, guys, it's definitely violet, right?"

The playful banter continues, adding a touch of humor to their painting session.

Meanwhile , Hero made sure the banter mellows down while keeping his internal thoughts to himself (that his thinking - See Mari? I kept my promise that I can become the best cook ever…and help take care of Sunny…It's really harder than I thought…I don't know why you ended up in your state right now yet I hope once you wake up we can make these new memories more memorable)

Hero interjects with a calm demeanor, trying to mellow down their banter. "Alright, let's focus on the task at hand. We can decide on the color together, considering Mari's favorite, but let's not forget we're here to create something special for her."

Aubrey nods in agreement, adding, "Yes, let's make this treehouse a place where Mari can feel at home and comfortable when she wakes up."

Kel, still a bit playful, chimes in, "Definitely! And we'll make sure the color matches Sunny's sketches perfectly, right?"

Sunny, quietly observing the exchange, smiles at their camaraderie and nods. He appreciates their efforts to create a welcoming space for Mari and feels grateful for their friendship and support during these challenging times.

Meanwhile , Basil grips his chest of his jumpsuit (with hardening gloves) and uttered "Hey guys after we uhh color the current exterior it's okay if I t-t-take a picture for all of us together to show Mari someday and for ourselves to mark new memories—" As Sunny spoke "Basil , you don't need permission…you already slowly had that same habit since we reconcile after what happen by the lake few days ago…"

Basil nods with a soft smile, appreciating Sunny's understanding. "Thanks, Sunny. It means a lot. I just want us to have something to look back on, especially when Mari wakes up."

Kel grins, already imagining the photo. "Yeah, we'll make it a memorable one, like a snapshot of our determination and friendship!"

Aubrey adds with a gentle tone, "It'll be a great way to remind Mari of all the love and effort we've put into this for her."

Hero, always thoughtful, nods in agreement. "Absolutely. Let's make sure every detail reflects our care and dedication."

With a renewed sense of purpose, they continue discussing the color scheme and details of the treehouse, each contributing their ideas and enthusiasm to create a special place for Mari and to strengthen their bonds as friends.

As they work together to paint the colors. Basil deep down felt something still haunting him (It's fine it's fine , Sunny and everyone is happy it's fine…It's for the best he) Until , Hero noticed and turn to Basil after painting the ladders on his end "Hey Basil , something up? You seem daze with observing how the others paint their side and you didn't even touch yours…."

Hero's concern breaks through Basil's thoughts, and he blinks, refocusing on the task at hand. "Oh, sorry about that. Just got lost in thought for a moment. I'll get to my part right away." He picks up his paintbrush and joins in, albeit with a slightly distracted air.

Kel notices and nudges Sunny, whispering, "Hey, do you think something's really bothering Basil?"

Sunny glances at Basil, noticing the tension in his expression. "Maybe. I'll talk to him later and see if everything's okay. He's been through a lot lately."

Aubrey, catching onto the concern, chimes in, "We should check in on him. He's part of this too, and if something's on his mind, we're here to listen."

With a shared sense of camaraderie and support, they finish painting the treehouse, but the worry about Basil lingers among them, a silent reminder of the complexities they face both individually and as a group.

As Aubrey awkwardly notice Kel and Sunny staring as she spoke "Hey I already apologize to Basil okay? And besides….Sunny help out clear the tension between us.." As Kel smile saying "I get it , but seriously did you bully Basil back then that badly when it's during those past 4 years since noticing those deface photos? (Of the photo album) or something else? If your okay with it despite we move on from it now…."

Aubrey takes a deep breath, her expression softening as she responds, "I didn't mean to bully him, Kel. It's just... things were complicated, and I didn't handle it well. But Sunny's right; we've sorted things out, and I'm sorry for any hurt I caused."

Sunny nods in agreement, adding, "We've all grown and learned from those experiences. It's about moving forward and making things right."

Kel grins, relieved at the resolution. "Great to hear that. We're a team, after all, and teams stick together through thick and thin."

With the tension eased and understanding shared, they finish painting the treehouse, the colors reflecting the unity and bonds they've strengthened.

Hero then return to make sure to clean up other supplies once he lets the ladder he painted dry. As Sunny ask "So Hero , Basil okay? I Uhh…Can talk to him more personally later since he is the closest to me…"

Hero nods, a reassuring smile on his face. "Basil's fine, Sunny. He just has a lot on his mind sometimes. I'm sure he'll appreciate talking to you."

Sunny nods back, a hint of concern in his eyes. "Yeah, I'll check in with him. Thanks, Hero."

With their tasks completed and the treehouse looking vibrant and new, they gather their belongings and prepare to head back inside, ready to enjoy the fruits of their labor and the newfound harmony among friends.

As they finally finish painting about 10 am now is the time , they sigh in relief being finished as they all gasp in awe. Basil taking the picture of the entire treehouse first with his childhood old polaroid camera (but shy when they notice him snapping photos already)

The group gathers around as Basil snaps the picture, capturing the colorful and renovated treehouse in its full glory. Aubrey, Kel, Hero, and Sunny huddle together, smiling and feeling a sense of accomplishment at the completed project. Sunny leans in closer to Aubrey, a subtle warmth in his expression as they all pose for the photo.

After the picture is taken, they gather the materials and tools, preparing to head back inside for a well-deserved break. As they step back, admiring their work, Kel breaks the silence with a grin. "Well, I must say, we make quite the team!"

Aubrey nods in agreement. "Definitely. It's amazing what we can achieve together."

Hero chimes in, "And it's all for Mari. She'll love seeing this when she wakes up."

Sunny smiles softly, feeling a mix of emotions. "Yeah, she will."

With a final glance at their handiwork, they head back indoors, ready to relax and enjoy each other's company after a successful day of teamwork and creativity.

As Hero as usual made the early lunch for their break in Sunny's (Miyamoto family name) house. Kel and Aubrey help with preparing setting up the table. While , Finally Sunny followed Basil still staring At the familiar stairway of the main hall of his house as he spoke "So Uhh Basil, something still bothering you?"

Sunny's question catches Basil off guard for a moment. He hesitates before answering, "Just a lot on my mind, I suppose. Seeing everything come together like this, it's... overwhelming."

Sunny nods understandingly. "Yeah, it's been quite a journey. But we're getting through it together."

Basil manages a smile, though there's a hint of uncertainty in his eyes. "You're right, Sunny. We are."

Their conversation is interrupted by Kel's cheerful voice calling them to the table. "Hey, you two! Lunch is ready. Let's dig in!"

As they gather around the table, enjoying Hero's cooking and the lively chatter of their friends, Sunny makes a mental note to check in with Basil again later, wanting to ensure that everything is truly okay.

Then , Sunny spoke "wait in a moment!!!" As Kel voice shouted "Okay!!! Just not too long—" As Basil head-tilts as he sense both his and Sunny's something flicker a bit for Sunny cautious scoot closer with a straight face saying "Basil , your going to be okay once me and Mari temporarily move within 3 weeks as we discuss last night right? Along well…I was thinking….maybe sooner or later we can tell them the 'truth' of what I did? We di—" He notice Basil saying something that surprise Sunny how he cut him off.

Basil's expression turns serious, his gaze meeting Sunny's. "Sunny, I think it's best if we wait for the right time. Mari's condition, your upcoming move... There's a lot happening, and we don't want to add unnecessary stress."

Sunny nods slowly, understanding the weight of Basil's words. "Yeah, you're right. It's just... hard sometimes, you know?"

Basil places a reassuring hand on Sunny's shoulder. "I know, but we'll find the right moment. Trust me."

With a small smile, Sunny replies, "I do. Thanks, Basil."

He then notice Basil's expression "Say how about you? You're going to be okay right? Hero notice earlier you seen daze when we repair the treehouse today bit by bit….are you still upset with Aubrey…or m-me not admitting much better on That photo album incident?"

Basil's expression softens as he looks at Sunny. "I'm fine, Sunny. It's not about you or Aubrey. It's just... adjusting to everything, you know? The treehouse, Mari's situation, old memories resurfacing... It can be overwhelming at times."

Sunny nods, a sympathetic look in his eyes. "I get it. We're all dealing with a lot."

Basil smiles faintly. "Exactly. We'll get through this together."

Sunny returns the smile. "Yeah, we will."

With a sense of understanding between them, they head back to join the others for lunch, ready to enjoy a moment of respite amidst the challenges they face.

As they eat , Sunny notice Hero gesture him and Basil to take a seat as Kel spoke "so…you two finish your little chit-chat moment between buddies?"

Sunny nods, "Yeah, we did. Thanks for waiting."

Hero chimes in, "No rush. Just making sure everything's okay."

Basil adds with a smile, "Everything's good."

The group continues their meal, enjoying the camaraderie and support they find in each other during these challenging times.

Aubrey then awkwardly scoot close to Basil "So Uhh Basil , it's not that your current daze is because of me earlier right?"

Basil shakes his head, "No, no, Aubrey. It's not because of you. Just lost in thought about some things, that's all."

Aubrey nods, a hint of concern in her eyes, "Alright, just making sure."

Sunny interjects, trying to lighten the mood, "Yeah, Basil's just thinking about how awesome our treehouse turned out!"

Kel grins, "Yeah, it's like the best in Faraway now!"

The group shares a laugh, easing any tension that might have lingered.

As they eat after praying , Sunny spoke with a musing "You know , now I think about it….it's been awhile since I had people in the house besides only Mewo and my parents…can't believe I Missed out 4 years…"

Sunny's reflection brings a touch of nostalgia to the moment. "It's strange how time flies, isn't it? But hey, we're making new memories now," Kel adds cheerfully.

Aubrey smiles, "Yeah, and I think Mari would love to see all of this when she wakes up."

Basil nods in agreement, "Definitely. It's a reminder of the good times we've had and the ones still ahead."

Hero chimes in, "Speaking of good times, let's enjoy this meal together. It's moments like these that matter the most."

As they eat , Mewo plays with its tail by its catlike bed at the corner that got them Happy as they also took their drinks. As Sunny ask them all calmly "speaking of Mari….you all safe-keep those recital tickets despite neither me and Mari can't make that 'day' due to her state until now currently? Sorry this might be out of place for me to say…."

The friends share a moment of understanding, each nodding in response. Kel reassures Sunny, "Of course we did. It's not out of place at all. We're keeping them for you both, just in case."

Aubrey adds softly, "We know you and Mari will be there in spirit, cheering us on."

Basil smiles warmly, "And when Mari wakes up, we'll make sure she gets to see the recital videos and feel like she was there with us."

Hero raises his glass, "To Mari and to all of us, no matter where we are, we're always together in spirit."

Sunny beans as he tried not to cry as Kel got confuse before patting Sunny's head "lemme guess you ask? Your thinking if ever that actual recital happens again with Mari….we can still watch it on time if you both perform?"m Sunny nods.

Kel smiles understandingly, "That's thoughtful, Sunny. We'll make sure to record everything for you both, just in case."

Aubrey adds, "And if Mari isn't able to attend physically, we'll find a way to bring the recital experience to her, maybe with a small performance in her room."

Basil chimes in, "We'll keep her updated on everything, from rehearsals to the final show. She won't miss a moment."

Hero nods, "And when she's better, we'll make new memories together, both on and off stage."

Sunny's eyes glisten with gratitude as he looks at his friends, feeling a deep sense of unity and support.

He uttered with a small smile without realizing it "thanks everyone , it's a relief really..I m-m-mean it's nice you all safekeep it despite that recital day got…cancelled…." Trying to continue despite something is itching him to panic in guilt of what cause her coma and that cancellation of that recital duet for them both 4 years ago as he sip his drink , trying not to self harm his bandaged arms "I meant , It's reassuring despite I avoided everyone to just focus on myself , taking care Mewo and Mari…."

Sunny's words hang in the air, heavy with unspoken emotions. Kel reaches out and gives Sunny's shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "We understand, Sunny. You've been through a lot, and we're here for you, always."

Aubrey nods in agreement. "You've been a rock for all of us, Sunny. It's okay to lean on us too."

Basil adds softly, "We're a team, Sunny. We'll get through everything together."

Hero smiles warmly, "And remember, Sunny, taking care of yourself is just as important. We're here to support each other."

Sunny manages a small smile, feeling a bit lighter with his friends' understanding and support.

As he nods. As they finish eating and drinking. Hero had a suggestion "Hey since Sunny has accepted a sleepover for basil's place I heard from Kel already back before I came along recently…then we sleepover Sunny's place with just me and Kel….lastly Basil with Sunny.." He glance at Aubrey gazing back confuse as he continues "Basically , how about we let Aubrey experience a sleepover? Either the Corazon (Hero and Kel's family name) household or Miyamoto (Sunny and Mari family name) household! What do you think? Does your mom might be cool with that?"

As he continued "since Sunny has accepted a sleepover at Basil's place, I heard from Kel already back before I came along recently... then we sleepover at Sunny's place, just me and Kel. Lastly, Basil with Sunny.. Basically many times before lately"

Kel grins widely, "Oh yeah! Sleepovers are always fun! My parents won't mind, especially if it's to cheer Sunny up!"

Basil hesitates, "I'm not sure if my parents would be okay with it, but I can ask."

Aubrey looks thoughtful for a moment before nodding, "Sure, why not? It could be a nice change of pace." As Sunny smiles, feeling touched by their willingness to support him. "I think it's a great idea. It'll be like old times." Then he pause "However , Aubrey you didn't mention asking permission first for your mom Uhh.." scratch head "will she cool with it not knowing? Or you would still tell her?"

Aubrey chuckles, "Oh, I'll definitely ask my mom. She's usually fine with these things as long as I keep her informed. I'll let her know tonight and get back to you all."

Kel nods approvingly, "Sounds like a plan! It'll be awesome to have a sleepover again."

Hero adds, "Definitely, it'll be a nice break from our usual routines."

Basil smiles, feeling a bit more at ease, "I'll talk to my parents too and let you know."

As they turn to Sunny , ask Kel ask "Speaking of parents when does usually they had time to check on you and Mari these past 4 years despite their busy day more intense?"

Sunny nods, recalling the typical schedule of his parents. "They usually visit during weekends, holidays, and sometimes on workday breaks if they can manage. It's been our routine for these past four years."

Kel nods in understanding, "That makes sense. It's good that they're able to spend time with you both despite their busy schedules."

Basil smiles as Aubrey punch Kel's shoulder lightly like a tsundere "Oh you HIMBO!!!! Of course Sunny's parents still had time For him , not just for Mari's condition…"

Basil chuckles at Aubrey's playful jab, "Hey, Kel's just making sure, you know? We all care about both Sunny and Mari." He glances at Sunny, adding, "And you're right, Sunny. It's great that your parents are there for you both, especially during these challenging times."

Hero smiles as he stretches and turns to Kel, asking, "Kel, do you think you could lend a hand in setting up a bigger bed fort for all of us in the Miyamoto family's living room?"

Aubrey gasp "wait , isn't that how you and Kel sleepover at this house of Sunny (and Mari) 2 days ago prior?"

Sunny nervously chuckled and nodded, "Yeah, it was pretty fun actually. We had a blast setting it up and staying there."

Kel chimed in, "Definitely! It was cozy and felt like a mini adventure."

Basil added with a smile, "I wouldn't mind doing it again. We can make it even better this time!"

Kel added "Besides , It's the best way to share spaces together!!!!" As Aubrey blush a huff "You didn't get pushy with Sunny right? Can we even fit despite we're not even the same sizes like kids before?"

Kel reassured Aubrey, "Don't worry, Aubrey. We'll make sure there's enough space for everyone comfortably. And no, I didn't get pushy with Sunny. We all had our own space."

Hero nodded in agreement, "Yeah, it was all good. We'll plan it out better this time."

Sunny grinned, feeling excited about the prospect of another sleepover. "I'm sure we can figure it out. It'll be fun!"

They were laughing a bit , meanwhile Basil by the corner look afar to think (Mari….hopefully if you ever wake up….you don't do the same mistake for Sunny….he is happy despite what happened…rather it's for the best..) As then he turn when Sunny got carried by Aubrey in a hug as she tease "Kel is right though last time he told me when we're finally chatting a bit before visit this house today your really light Sunny!!!"

Basil chimes in with a smile, "Yeah, Aubrey, Sunny's been more of a digital presence than a physical one for a while. Maybe that's why he's so light now, all that virtual weightlessness!"

Sunny laughs along, adding, "Guess I need to hit the gym more often if I'm this light!"

Kel beams "really Sunny? You sure you can be athletic as me? Maybe you can also prove to my parents too that you can still grow your height!!!!"

Kel's enthusiasm is contagious! Sunny chuckles, "Well, I'll give it my best shot, Kel! Who knows, maybe I'll surprise everyone with a growth spurt!"

Aubrey giggles, teasing, "Just make sure you don't outgrow us too fast, Sunny!"

Sunny blush when Aubrey is smiling so sweetly and she gently put him down as he muttered looking away his life of his eyes coming back slowly "Uhh no no…it's not like I can have a growth spurt at this moment….right? Is being a teen too late?"

Aubrey reassures Sunny with a playful smile, "Hey, don't worry about it! You're perfect just the way you are. Besides, being a teen is all about growing in different ways, not just in height."

Hero nods and spoke "ahh it feels like yesterday for me too , I am 19 now by the way Sunny…so can you recall your age now? Remember you were 12 years old back then 4 years ago when we last saw you…."

As Sunny count his fingers as he innocently answered "Uhh 16 I guess? Wait then that means…everyone else is 16 right as always? Wait that—" They all chuckle as he softly spoke "Did I count it right or not?"

They[1] all nod and confirm, "Yes, you counted right, Sunny. We're all around 16 now."

Kel adds playfully, "Looks like you haven't lost your touch with numbers despite your 'hibernation'!"

Basil nods , as Aubrey groans "Ignore him Sunny , he just meant—" As she got surprise when he sighs saying "I know , well technically I did 'hibernate' if I didn't leave my house right?" Straight face and monotone voice.

Basil nods , as Aubrey groans "Ignore him Sunny , he just meant—" As she got surprise when he sighs saying "I know , well technically I did 'hibernate' if I didn't leave my house right?" Straight face and monotone voice.

Hero chuckles "as always Sunny is acting that side of himself quietly…" As Sunny laughs at himself "Is me being quiet and calm really funny?"

Hero grins, "Not funny, just uniquely you, Sunny. It's like your own trademark."

Then , they work together on their bed for when Sunny permitted them to burrow pillows , blankets and a mattress from his house' supplies once they finish their permission with their families.

However , Sunny notice Basil seems down after burrowing the house' phone landline to interact with his parents as he ask "So does your parents allowed such a big sleepover Basil?"

Basil sighs, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "Not exactly. My parents are traveling for work this weekend, so they won't be able to reach us on the landline. But I'll let them know we're having a sleepover here."

Sunny nods understandingly. "It's okay, Basil. We'll make sure to take good care of everything."

Kel jumps in with a playful grin. "And by everything, Sunny means not letting Mewo steal all the attention!"

Aubrey giggles, "I think Mewo will enjoy having so many people around, actually."

As they continue preparing for the sleepover, they share stories and jokes, creating new memories together in Sunny's home.

Mewo meows and purrs as Hero carried him "Sure!!! Guess our special black cat can join our sleepover!!! Would she Sunny?"

Sunny smiles and nods. "Of course! Mewo loves having company, don't you, buddy?"

Mewo purrs in agreement, enjoying the attention and the prospect of a lively evening ahead.

As they finish setting up the sleeping arrangements and gathering snacks, they settle in for a night of laughter, stories, and bonding, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere in Sunny's home.

Aubrey notice Sunny's shudder as she ask "You okay? Hopefully you are not going to suddenly faint asleep like yesterday if we're gonna have dinner Later and ohh!!! My Mom is agreed after I call her a bit…"

Sunny nods, trying to hide his slight unease. "Yeah, I'm good. No sudden fainting, I promise," he says with a small smile. "And that's great about your mom!"

As they continue preparing for the evening, Sunny's mind is filled with anticipation and a touch of anxiety, hoping the night goes smoothly without any unexpected incidents.

Meanwhile , Kel heard a screech from the other hall as he chuckles it was Hero scared of little spiders crawling on some floor at other halls of the house to make him say "Hey everyone!!! I think we need someone to shoo the spiders away…"

Kel's announcement prompts Aubrey to laugh. "Are you serious, Hero? Spiders?" She teases, playfully nudging him. "I thought you were the brave one."

Hero chuckles sheepishly, scratching his head. "I can handle bigger things than spiders, you know."

Kel grins mischievously. "Oh, so you're saying you can take on a dragon but not a little spider?"

Sunny joins in, trying to lighten the mood. "I think we'll need a superhero to save the day from these mighty spiders!"

Basil sighs "Guys , did you all almost forget? Even Mari told us as kids he is scared of spiders….thats Hero for you…" As Sunny had a deadpan nod asking "wait even though he is older now?"

Basil's reminder about Hero's fear of spiders brings a moment of realization to the group. Aubrey nods in understanding, saying, "Ah, that makes sense. Some fears stick with us from childhood."

Hero chuckles sheepishly, admitting, "Yeah, spiders just give me the creeps, no matter how old I get."

Sunny smiles sympathetically, patting Hero's shoulder. "It's okay, Hero. We'll make sure no spiders bother you during our sleepover."

Kel then happily collect the spiders with a smirk "good for me….I am always fascinated by bugs!!!"

Kel's fascination with bugs earns a chuckle from the group. Aubrey playfully rolls her eyes, saying, "Leave it to Kel to find bugs fascinating."

Hero nods, relieved that the spiders are taken care of. "Thanks, Kel. Now we can relax without any creepy crawlies around."

With the spiders dealt with, they continue preparing for their sleepover, setting up their makeshift bed fort, and gathering snacks for the night ahead.

Basil , then turn to Aubrey "Hey atleast it's a good thing Kel is the kind of Corazon not scared of spiders.." As Hero adds "Hey I can still be brave to other departments as well guys…Let's just share it's natural to be scared for umm…certain things…"

Basil's acknowledgment of Kel's lack of fear towards spiders prompts a nod of agreement from Aubrey. "Yeah, it's nice to have someone brave in the group for those moments," she remarks.

Kel takes the lead in responding to Hero's comment about bravery and fears. "Absolutely, Hero. We all have our strengths and fears. That's what makes us a balanced team," Kel remarks as he sets the spider outside a nearby window, away from the house.

Sunny sighs as when he almost trip he accidentally got caught by Aubrey that made them blush as he spoke "Ahh sorry , I just was about to help…with the pillow arrangements…."

Sunny's stumble and Aubrey catching him lead to a moment of blushing between them. "No worries, Sunny. Let's get these pillows sorted," Aubrey responds with a smile, trying to ease any awkwardness.

Kel whispers to Basil "Is it just me , or Sunny and Aubrey reconnect the most lately? It is nice though!!!!"

Basil nods in agreement with Kel's observation. "You're right, Kel. They seem to be getting along well. It's good to see them reconnecting," Basil replies, helping Hero stabilize the Bedford for their sleepover.

Then , Sunny turns to Mewo petting it before blinking thinking still about his time in his headspace (I wonder or hopefully no nightmares for tonight with everyone…here….need to stay awake longer…)
