Wei Anning finished breakfast and felt her strength had mostly returned. She took a coat belonging to Yan Nanfei from the wardrobe and draped it over herself before heading downstairs to find Nan Fei.
Mrs. Yan was arranging flowers in the living room. When she saw Anning coming downstairs, a warm smile spread across her delicate face, "Anning, you're awake. How are you feeling? Come over and sit down. Your fever just subsided; it's not good to be exposed to the wind again."
Anning walked over and sat down next to Mrs. Yan. Nan Fei looked a lot like her mother. She watched Mrs. Yan trim the rose stems and then arrange the flowers in a vase. Anning asked, "Aunt Zhang, where's Nan Fei?"
