It all began when I transferred to a new school in grade 9. My cousins didn't go to the same school as me, and their schedule was different from mine. One lunchtime, our helper, Sam, told me to call my sister for lunch. Sam went to her room but couldn't find me there. She said she saw someone who looked exactly like me come out of the room, go to the bathroom, and then return. But I had just arrived home and was still at the gate.
Later on, they told me about it, and our helper said she touched my head because, according to her, when there's a doppelganger, you're supposed to touch their head. Then, during a drinking session with my cousins, when everyone was already drunk, I decided to sleep downstairs because my room was full. They said they heard someone knocking upstairs, so we joked that it must be "Chloe 2," like a second version of me.
Another time during a drinking session with friends, two of them needed to use the bathroom, so I went with them because there were two bathrooms, and one of my friends was scared. After a few days, I found out that one of my friends who acted brave actually got a fever. And the latest incident happened when my stepfather picked me up and brought me to my grandmother's house, where something similar had happened before.
When we arrived, no one was there, so he suggested that I go with my mother because they were going to sleep there. I went home around 4:00 PM. When I got there, I told our helper that I would take a shower and then leave. She asked me why I didn't shower earlier, and I jokingly said that I just got back from my uncle's house. She looked pale and said she saw me in my mom's room earlier, lying on the bed. I laughed it off and said, "Oh, Chloe 2 is here again." But a few days later, our helper woke me up and told me to come downstairs because I had to enroll. When I went down, my mom asked me why I hadn't showered yet. I told her I had just come down, but she said she saw me earlier wearing the same clothes I was wearing then. It made me wonder if it was a mistake to name my doppelganger "Chloe 2."
