Du's mother was adamant, unfazed by what was said, "Cut it out, keep spinning tales. If it's clearly my son's card, how could the money on it turn into yours?"
"You claim it's your son's card, so are you admitting you took the bank card?" Tan's mother caught the slip in her words.
Unafraid to produce the bank card, Du's mother actually took it out, "Take a look, can this be your card?"
Seeing it was indeed the card, Tan's mother sneered, "This actually is my card, how about that, you don't believe me? Want to go to the bank and confirm who the owner of the card is?"
Du's mother was startled when Tan's mother dared to suggest verifying it at the bank, "This, this is really your card?"
"It's not only my card, the money inside is obviously mine and my husband's," Tan's mother said, looking at the things she had bought on the table, "You didn't take my money to buy these things, did you?"
