After our heated confrontation in the car, I dropped Huang Yanyan off at her apartment building, my body still thrumming with unfulfilled tensions. As much as part of me craved to boldly pursue this further and stake an undeniable claim, propriety and prudence ultimately prevailed.
For now.
Yanyan emerged from the car with tousled hair and swollen lips that brazenly broadcast our illicit activities to any watchful eye. My gaze raked over those lush feminine curves with undisguised hunger as she leaned in for one final, searing kiss that left us both rasping for air.
"Until next time, lover," she husked against my lips, her tone laced with dark promise.
I could only manage a stiff nod of acknowledgment, temporarily rendered mute by the smoldering embers she had ignited yet again with that simple parting gesture. Yanyan threw me one last impish smirk before sauntering towards the building's entrance with that same bewitching swing of her hips.
