Arianna paused, noticing the way he looked up at her with his wide azure eyes, his innocent giggle filling the room. Her heart swelled with warmth, and her smile grew, even as an explosion erupted outside.
Silvia raised a shield, protecting them both, but for a moment, all she could focus on was the pure joy and love in her son's eyes, ''I love you so much Atlas Pendragon, you are the best thing to happen to this lonely princess.''
The baby stared at her, but when something slammed against the shield, Arianna spun around, only to notice the white hair she knew all too well. Anger surged forth as she spoke to Silvia, ''Send him away now! I will hold this demon back.''
