And no, there will never be a romance between Remilya and Rando, even if its hinted here it wont happen.

Chapter 6.5 : Remilya's Twilight

Rando liked his peaceful alone times, where he could drink tea, read a novel, and enjoy nature in peace.
He sat at one of the garden arbors or pergolas(Whatever it was called, he was too busy enjoying being in silent peace), obviously, it was afternoon otherwise it would have been such a bore if he sat in here in the morning or at night.
"Truly it is a sin to be ignorant, but what a bliss it is." The reason he was having such a good day is because there was no Remilya to bother him, last he heard, the girl was currently stuck with her mother for a shopping spree.
Shopping for high-heels alongside his mother, for what reason? He did not know, but he was glad it kept Remilya away from him for a day. He took a sip of his tea, ignorant of the bundle of red besides him.
Maybe he should grab the new volume for Stall wars, he'd been meaning to read it after hiding it from Remil-
"Hi Rando."
As if despised by fate, another familiar face settled just about next to him. Rando spit out his tea and nearly choked on the hot tea.
"What the hell!? Remilya?!?" Rando coughed, wiping his mouth with the sleeve of his shirt.
"Sup." Remilya greeted, as if she hadn't nearly caused the early death of her friend. Rando balked at his friend's obliviousness.
"I- You- Don't ever do that again!"
"Do what?"
"Do what you just did!"
"Do what???"
"I- Ughh..." He gave up, arguing with her was nearly impossible, his day was already ruined by her ungodly arrival. "How'd you get back so fast? I thought mother and Ms.Elizabeth were busy tearing you a new one buying high heels."
Remilya groaned. "Don't remind me, I managed to give an excuse to mama after buying," she slammed a book at the table, causing the tea he was drinking to nearly spill. "This!"
Rando's jaw slightly slacked, if only at the ridiculousness of... Whatever this book is.
"Remilya-tan, what is this?" Rando said, pointing down to a book with a disgusted look. Said book he was currently pointing at was a new release by the famous Natsume Kafka, it was only a stroke of luck that Remilya managed to buy a copy of it before it was sold out.
"This." Remilya picked up the book and nearly shoved it into his face. "Is a new book by Natsume-sensei!"
"I can see that."
"Mhm!"
"But what is it ?"
"It's a book."
"Not what I meant, what I meant to say is." Rando lightly inhaled. "WHAT!?" he screamed, pointing at the book.
Why was he so miffed about a book you ask? It was made by Natsume-sensei so it was a given that it would be a masterpiece, so what was so detestable about it?
He'd probably want to give it a try, IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE GODDAMN COVER!
The cover consisted of a woman who was facing at the side, whereas a man had his chin resting on the woman's exposed shoulder. I-It's too lewd!
Rando covered his eyes from the hellish book that was named "Twilight" and its inappropriate cover.
Remilya simply gave him an unimpressed look. "Really? From all the things you could have been flustered about, it's this?"
"S-Shut up! I thought you were someone of high standards! Same to Natsume-sensei! Why would she use that as a book cover!?"
"Because it's not that big of a deal..? It's literally just a man and woman."
"In a lewd distance and position!"
Remilya lowered her hand alongside the book, her face plastered with a 'Are you serious?' expression. "This is considered lewd..?"
Before her eyes widened. 'Wait, this is a new side of him I've never seen before, does that mean he's... He's...! HE'S!'
Pure and easy to tease!
Oh hells yeah, she was going to milk this. A slight dangerous smile appeared on her face.
"Hehehe..."
"O-Oi, w-what are you giggling about?"
"Nothing Rando-kun! Say, wanna read this together?"
"N-No! It's probably inappropriate for us as well!"
"Noooo... It's not, trust me."
She's definitely not showing him the summary of this story, if only to catch him by surprise.
"Oh come on! It's not that bad, it's only the cover..." Remilya dramatically pulled away, before giving him a smug, annoying, look. "Or is the noble Rand Omadolcnte afraid of a book..?"
A tick grew on Rando's forehead. "What was that!? Fine! Let's read this stupid book, a noble's son such as I won't be intimidated by a simple boo-"

"Why... Why is it so sad?" Rando said, hunched up at a tree next to the arbor. Next to him was Remilya, face planted into the ground.
Remilya didn't say anything other than groan, her eyes lifeless after seeing the end of the book.
The fact this was the book one of Natsume-sensei's new series 'Twilight' meant she had to wait for a YEAR for the next book.
"Cliffhangers are... Bullshit."
But hey, this book gave her a new perspective. Vampire romance? How ironic, considering she has to hide the fact she was a vampire from her friend.
But still... Vampire romance huh? Her eyes landed on Rando's hunched up form.
Well.. Maybe when they grow up... Actually nah.
