"May I come in, wife?" Maverick repeated, now waiting for her answer.
Karenina gets down from the bed and yawning, she opens the door for him. He was standing there with red roses and a small luxury shopping bag. He entered inside and without any hesitation, pecked on Karenina's right cheek and extended the roses to her.
"I know you like red roses. I have specially gone through the garden to get them for you."
"Hm. Thank you. They're beautiful," she replied, her voice somehow sentimental.
' Red roses... It reminds me of Romeo's crimson red eyes when he taps in his Lycan wolf. They're a beautiful pair of eyes to stare at... My, my, would you look at me?'
She smiles and puts the roses in the flower vase, when suddenly Maverick hugs her from behind.
"Shall we go on a dinner date tonight? It's been a long time since we went on one," he suggested, making her feel awkward.
