"GAVINA!" Karenina's eyes snapped open as she rose from the floor and clutched her fingers (now elongated into claws) around her neck, pinning her against the wall.
"You can say anything to me, I'll listen. But don't you dare say anything about my daughter," Karenina growled, her grip tightening around Gavina's throat. "I'll kill you, hear me? I'll fucking kill you if you bring my daughter into this!"
"Mmmph," Gavina struggled for air, her body twisting in discomfort, and her face turning red, veins popping up in her neck.
She tried to kick Karenina back, only to have her leg blocked and hit back in her torso. "Argh."
