"What hidden power?" Karenina pointed out, "And why would that cost you half of your lifespan?"
Romeo's gaze softened, and his stunning ocean-blue eyes locked onto mine, filled with warmth and tenderness as he said, "You see, Lycans are primordial beings. And I'm sure you might know that no matter how strong and powerful the magic spells are, Lycans are immune to them."
"Neither the divine powers of Paladins or witch's black magic spells work on us. But that's not the case with our daughter."
"Because she's not a true Lycan...," Karenina's voice turned sad.
"Why sound so sad about it?" He softly inquired, noticing her worried expressions. "Our daughter is the best of us. She's our beautiful creation, blessed with both of our traits."
"But every beautiful creation had a flaw and that is completely fine. Because I'll erase that flaw from her life."
Karenina looks at him. He smiled, and his dimples appeared, deepening his charming, irresistible face.
