Chapter 40 - 39. Foreign Vampire 2

Tom was angry from the moment he realized he was considered prey. Although he was not as aggressive as before, he had never shown mercy to anyone who disrespected him. Nor had he ever had any reason to show mercy.

Riddle slowly waved his wand. Stones on the ground flew into the air.

The vampire was terrified, seeing such a thing for the first time in his life. The vampire's eyes stared at the stones rising into the air. His senses told him that the man in front of him was dangerous, but he didn't think the stones could hurt him.

He was a little relieved to know that the stones would not hurt him. Even though he could not move, his fear was gone because he thought he would not die.

_________

Riddle wasn't trying to kill him right now. He was testing the vampire's defenses. He had always liked to experiment. He knew from his close contact with Alice that vampires were strong, but he had never tested how resilient they were.

During his time as a Dark Lord, he had encountered a few vampires. The vampires he had encountered were different from the vampires he had seen here, but they were not weak. It didn't take more than a few seconds to kill one of them.

Tom slowly raised his hand. After he raised his hand, the stones in the air hit the vampire with great speed. The stones shattered after hitting the vampire's body. Tom knew this would happen, but he wanted to give it a try.

The vampire wanted to smile when he saw that he was unharmed, but the fact that he still couldn't move made him feel uneasy again.

Tom looked into the eyes of the vampire in front of him. He looked into the vampire's red eyes.

The vampire realized that he had made a mistake, but it was too late. He had already lost contact with the outside world.

It was like the throne room of a large castle. Many red-eyed vampires were standing around. There were three thrones in the hall. One vampire sat on each throne.

The other 2 thrones were in the back and one was in the front. I guess the person sitting on the front throne was the king.

"I want you to do this, Ezekiel. I trust you. Go and search the cave. It may seem like a simple task, but it is very important to us. I hope you understand my seriousness." The vampire sitting on the throne smiled as he looked at Ezekiel. But the smile was tinged with malice. The young vampires in the room were frightened by that smile.

"Of course, my lord, I will do as you wish." Ezekiel stood up after a pause and began to speak again without looking up. "Do you have any further orders, sir?"

"No. You may leave now." Ezekiel walked away quickly after the lead vampire let him go.

"Aro, you're being a little too hard on the boys." One of the vampires sitting on the throne was named Aro.

Riddle took his eyes off Ezekiel. He had discovered that the vampire in front of him had been a vampire two years ago. But the most important thing he learned was about the vampire community. According to his analysis, vampires hid their existence from humans just like wizards. What Riddle was not sure about was the purpose of the Vampire Fellowship. Since the vampire before Riddle was young, he knew nothing.

This young vampire was not innocent. Even though he had been forcibly turned into a vampire, he had harmed many innocent creatures after becoming a vampire. Tom had seen vampires that were not evil.

Riddle, of course, would not punish Ezekiel for the people he had killed, for the innocents he had harmed. That is not his responsibility. He's not a messenger of God. Riddle's concern was that Ezekiel would attack him.

Riddle had found a better way than to kill Ezekiel. If he killed him, members of the Volturi community would come to investigate because Ezekiel would not come back. Riddle doesn't want a vampire corpse burning in his backyard every day. That would be quite a headache.

Riddle waved his wand at the vampire's arm.

Ezekiel sensed danger when he saw the stick in the man's hand move. A second later, he felt a sharp pain in his left leg. He let out a loud cry and looked down at his left leg where he felt the pain. When he looked at his left leg, he could not see it. When he looked a little lower, he was horrified by what he saw. His leg was severed and he had fallen to the ground.

When he looked at his left leg on the ground, he felt pain again. He screamed again because of the pain. As he screamed, he was again horrified by what he saw. His other leg was on the floor.

Riddle stared coldly at the suffering vampire without blinking an eye. He had cut off the legs of the other vampire. He had done this for two reasons. To punish Ezekiel and to use the vampire's body parts.

Riddle smiled as he looked at his accomplishment. He had found what he was looking for.

The floating vampire had fallen to the ground. Riddle paid no further attention to him. Ezekiel, realizing he couldn't hurt him, took his chance to escape.

Ezekiel knew that if he didn't take the severed legs with him, he wouldn't be able to heal them. But his life was more important than his legs, so he crawled away.

Riddle pointed his wand at Ezekiel one last time. In his mind, he repeated the name of the spell once: Obliviate.

After a few seconds, Riddle picked up both legs from the floor and materialized back in his house. He placed his legs on the wooden table in the living room of the house, and there was blood on the table.

_____________

Ezekiel crawled into the Volturi headquarters. The only thing on his mind was the group of vampires that attacked him on the road and tore off his legs.

Riddle altered Ezekiel's memories before he materialized.

______________

Riddle looked down at the wooden table, which was the color of blood, blood oozing from the legs and dripping onto the floor.

Tom raised his wand and blew slowly. Red flames began to rise from the tip of his wand. The flames started to spread. The red flames went to the top of the table.

The flame was aimed at Ezekiel's legs. The flames surrounded the table. From the outside, nothing could be seen but fire.

Tom swung his wand and scattered the flames. Nothing in the room was damaged. The only visible change in the room was that the legs on the table were gone. Instead of legs, there were bones.

Riddle had used the fiendfyre to cleanse the blood and flesh. The bones on the table were the leg bones of a vampire.
