Chapter 27: The Hidden 8th True Hero VS A Thusand Kill Mirrian

Behind Mirrian a Blue magic circles materialise in thin air, and Blue Flame emerge from the center of the magic circles.

It shot towards Mirrian at blinding speed, attempting to burn her to crisp.

Mirrian disappeared, dodging the blue flame, inches away from hitting her body, and almost burning her clothes.

Mirrian appeared above Vinny, her rifle aimed at Vinny's head, as she pressed the trigger without delayed.
'Body Shield!'
Vinny hurriedly shield her body, materialising a blue barrier wrapped around her entire form.
*Bang!*
The bullet shot, and made contact with her hastily made barrier.
*Crack*
Spider-web like crack formed around the barrier, starting from the bullets first contact.
*Shatter!*
The barrier couldn't maintained its form, shattering into a thousand pieces letting the bullets through with its speed greatly diminished.
*Swoosh*
Vinny to swiftly dodge the bullet, turning around and backing away.
"Cloudy Area" Vinny quickly casted, planning to obscure Mirrian sight.
Cloud of mana covered the entire area, obstructing the sight of observer and her opponents.
The cloud being made of her own mana allowed her to naturally hide herself, and sense her opponents movements within the cloud range.
Or atleast that's what Vinny had planned in her mind But..
She didn't sense Mirrian at all! Not her mana, not her movements, and not even her artifacts!
*thud*
An metallic object pressed against her head, Vinny's eyes widen in shock.
"!?" Vinny instinctually turned, punched Mirrian from behind, just before Mirrian could press the trigger.

Her left arm were blown off, and Mirrian rifle were kicked away by her, damaging it beyond repair.
Mirrian backed away, hiding in the smoke screen using Vinny's own spell against her.
"Annoying.." Vinny grabbed her blown off arms with her right hand, and reattached it back, a green light glowed on her right palm.
"Advance Heal" Vinny casted a healing spell on her left arms, fixing it as if nothing happen.
[ +4,500,000 HP ]
With her left arm healed and fixed in place, Vinny gazes around the cloudy area trying to sense Mirrian's Mana and movement through her mana sense.
An frown formed on Vinny's face, she couldn't sense Mirrian in the spell range, not a trace of her at all. She felt an ominous feeling that Mirrian was planning something behind the smoke.
"Deactivate" Vinny decisively deactivated the spell knowing it was of no used.
Mirrian had attack her despite the area being covered in mana smoke, she didn't even detect Mirrian at all.
Remember, the smoke screen were no ordinary smoke or cloud, it was covered in her own mana, allowing her to hide herself and sense her opponents movements, but Mirrian had defied all of that and had even used the smoke screen against her!
The smoke screen faded into thin air, the spell naturally disappeared into thin air.
As the cloud dissipate, her eyes narrowed at the sight in front of her.
*clank*
She was surrounded by all types of gun, ranging from rifles, shotgun, pistol, sniper rifles, machine gun, submachine gun, and others.
Mirrian smirked,
"A Thousand Kill!" Mirrian exclaim without delayed,
"Heavenly Flame Domain!" Vinny immediately casted,
The surrounding gun aimed at Vinny, making clicking noise.
Blue flame with temperature almost comparable to the sun surface surrounded Vinny acting like a barrier.
*Bang! BANG! bang! *
The thousand of gun fired at Vinny's form, shooting thousand upon thousand of bullets, causing the ears of a ordinary human to burst at the loud noise or faint at the shockwaves produced by the bullets itself.
There were a thousand ways to die here from the shockwaves, the loud noise, the array of guns, blood lost, bullet hole, torn to pieces, brain damage, heat death, suffocation, penetration, piercing, slash, decapitation, and many more death!
Hence why Mirrian called it A Thousand Kill!
No matter what resistance her opponents have, her array of guns could easily penetrate it! Unless you have a resistance against all types of physical attack then there was no hope in defending against her array of gun!

The bullet were disintegrated by the temperature of the flame barrier, the threat of the bullet were nonexistent to Vinny, but there were still the threat of the aftermath like the winds they carried, and of course the ear piercing noise when the gun fired.

Vinny covered her sensitive ears with both her hand, her HP Regeneration wasn't able to keep up with the damage she was taking per second.
To make it worst the wind carried by the bullets were disrupting her mana circulation around the heavenly flame domain! Causing backlashes on her internal mana circulation.
Making her take damage from her own Mana!
Why? The mana she released is immense! Even 5% of it would damage her body if her mana circulation were to be disturb!
That's right, her weakness was her own mana! Which is quite unfortunate considering how much mana she had, she could have become a powerful being if it weren't for that weakness.
Though, it also made sense on why Hiko had become so powerful! It might be because of Vinny's bloodline, and the combination of those other powerful bloodline being injected inside Hiko.
It was no wonder that Hiko had become so powerful.
She is literally the fusion of all The Strongest Creature! that Vinny had manage to collect, and defeated!
Nonetheless If the fight continue like this, she won't be able to last more then a few more days if she continue hiding inside her heavenly flame domain.

Just thinking of using one of her trump card on Mirrian made her annoyed, she didn't want Mirrian to know anything about her skill or abilities, but she had no other choice.
She didn't have her staff at the moment nor did she brought her ancient blue chain. She had given them to Felix for safe keeping.
As for her other spell? Would it even work on Mirrian?
Even without observation she could tell that Mirrian is comparable to her in terms of Strenght and power, likely enhance by the artifacts Mirrian is currently wearing.
Using ordinary magic spell like fire, water, earth, and wind were useless against a grade S being assuming that Mirrian had reached that level of grade.
Unless its a special magic spell similar her ancient blue flames.
With no other choice in mind, she decisively choose to cast [Heavens Wrath Calamity Falls]

The sky darken, cloud dissipate, time slowed, and the noise faded.
Pure Radiant Light Glowed in the sky, a yellow magic circles filled with Divinity, and Lights materialise, expanding at breakneck speed covering the whole 500 meters radius of the entire forest.
Mirrian stared at the dark sky sharply, her eyes narrowing at the massive magic circles.
Overwhelming amount of mana bursted out of Vinny's figure, destroying the arrays of guns, and going straight towards the massive magic circles.

Mirrian caught off balance at the sudden mana burst, she glared at Vinny hatefully.
The magic circles were massively large, Mirrian can't possibly used Teleportation in time without getting hit, nor does her other artifacts could help her flee this type of situation.
She had underestimated Vinny and she will pay the price for it!
"Are you trying to get us both killed!?" Mirrian shouted at her, with visible anger in her tone.
Vinny merely smiled without saying anything, she knows her spell better then anyone, and there was nowhere she would die with Mirrian.
A brat like Mirrian does not deserve to die with her.
Vinny's silence made Mirrian eyes twitched in irritation.
Seeing as Vinny wasn't responding, Mirrian grabbed her own left eyes with gritted teeth, pulled it out revealing a black gem at the back of her left eyeball.

Blood dripped from her empty eye-socket, she closed her eye-socket making sure no blood would come out of it.

The beam of Divine Light descended upon the earth below, as if the heaven above had casted judgment to the world.
Mirrian hurriedly throw her left eyeball at the beam of light, second away from hitting her body as she spoke,
"Black Hole!" Mirrian desperately shouted.
The thrown eye is crushed by a invisible force Space-Time curve unnaturally and a all consuming mass of darkness materialise.
Heavens Wrath collated with the unknown void being drawn towards its mysterious alluring darkness.
*Swirls! Wooosh!*
The black hole swallowed the beam of light, swinging them around itself and stretching it into thin string being devoured into its Singularity. It protected Mirrian from the incoming attack, while it increase in sizes the more mass it swallowed.
Heavens Wrath had become nothing but a beautiful ring around the void like sphere.
Vinny's entire body shook, her eyes widening at the sight.
'Where Did She find Such A Powerful Artifacts!?' Vinny mentally shouted.
Vinny hurriedly casted a small barrier around herself, defending her from the 'debris' being thrown everywhere by the black hole, setting the entire forest on fire.
This black hole increased in sizes, continuing to swallow her attack like it was nothing more then a snack for it.
It's an unbelievable sight, the beam of light that covered a 500 meters radius is being swallowed by a tiny insignificant black hole, its sizes increasing at a visible rate!
Vinny turned around and saw that Mirrian is gone, nowhere to be found.
Her eyebrow furrowing, her hand trembling into a clenched fist, her face flushed in red.
"MIRRIAAAAAN!!" Vinny shouted, a small shockwaves reverberated throughout the sky.
It had only been a few minutes since they fought! Yet she dare to run away!?
Ridiculous! Absolutely Ridiculous!!
That Stupid Bastard FUCKING Left Her With This Mess!

Vinny stared at the black hole her face darkening.
That Bitch had really left..even after waiting for several minute she had not come back nor launch a sneak attack. Not even when she put herself in a vulnerable state, she did not attack.
That Brat! After using such an insane Artifacts! She had Left! Coward..
Their fight had just began! Yet she left!
"Annoying.." Vinny grumble, obsering her surrounding, she saw the entire forest is on fire as far as her eyes could see.
Not even her mansion is spare from the 'debris' send by the black hole. Her Heavens Wrath had been rendered useless. She continue observing her surrounding with her keen eyesight, scanning for where Mirrian had gone to.
Though she highly doubt that Mirrian is still here..
Vinny eyebrow raised, she notice Zero's Mana underground with Emily's Mana beside her, and judging by the mana circulating around the both of them.
Zero is protecting Emily in the laboratory with some kind of barrier magic, but the aura give off an cursed, and negative vibe, Cursed Magic perhaps?
Why would Zero protect Emily? In her knowledge, both of them doesn't seem to get along well nor to they talk to each other except for when Hiko is there to live up the atmosphere.
Vinny smile warmly.
She may not know the reason its good that their getting along well with each other even if she doesn't know why, the important part is that Zero is willing to protect an individual, meaning Zero can still go on the right path!
Vinny shook her head, and focus on the current problem on hand. The black hole doesn't seem to be disappearing anytime soon, the 'debris' send by the black hole were burning the forest and her mansion.
Fortunately her Heavens Wrath only damage those that she has her sight on. That was why she had dare to used this trump card even though her servant, and subject haven't retreated yet.
This trump card of hers only damage those she want to damage, but the cons is that she could only attack one person at a time despite its range being large it could only kill one person.
In simple terms.
The Heavens Wrath only kill one person, anyone hit by it will not be injured or receive any damage.
"Sigh~" Vinny sighed, she had a lot of work to do, and had to be cautious incase Mirrian decided to appear and attack her again.
That had happen multiple time in the past making her wonder, why Mirrian had retreated, and how many more artifacts Mirrian possibly possess.
Maybe Mirrian had retreated because of some unknown side effect? Or is she waiting for an opportunity to ambush her when she least expected?
For now she focus on rescuing her servant and subordinate, especially Zero and Emily.
With a plan in mind, she acted on it immediately Time wait for no one!
She needed to relocate everyone to the new base ASAP!
