After everyone was seated, John decided to jump into the conversation without waiting. "Actually, we all have a common goal. We want to eliminate this threat. The important thing is how we do it. We must never make a mistake."
A burly vampire raised his hand and joined the conversation. "The way we do it, isn't it obvious? We have to kill them. So we fight."
The blonde vampire next to him turned to him and gave him an angry look. "Emmett, we can't solve everything with brute force."
The vampire named Emmett didn't seem to care what Rosalie said. "You're right, Rosalie."
John looked at her calmly and turned away. "What you say is true. We have to fight them, but we have to use smart tactics."
After finishing his sentence, John turned to his side and checked Axel's presence. "Carlisle, I'm sure you know a thing or two about Axel. His powers come in handy in situations like this."
Carlisle had actually heard a few things about Axel, but he thought they were urban legends. He had heard of a man who went around killing vampires. Remembering what he'd been told about this man's appearance, he could think of a few things, but he couldn't be sure.
"What is his power?" A small female vampire looked at Axel curiously. This Alice, who had the ability to see into the future, had had some visions about today's meeting, but she hadn't seen Axel in them.
Esme wanted to lighten the mood, as she didn't think it was right to ask the question directly, but John stepped in front of her and motioned for Axel to speak with his eyes.
Axel scanned the room with his eyes and then looked at Alice, who had asked the question. "Actually, the answer to your question is very long, but if I were to describe it to you briefly, I would say vector control.
"Could you explain vector control a little more simply?" Emmett hadn't studied much physics, so the term 'vector control' didn't ring a bell.
Axel leaned back in his chair and began to explain the details of his ability. "My ability allows me to control the direction and magnitude of any vector."
Carlisle became even more interested in Axel after hearing what he had to say. "So you are theoretically invincible.
"Everyone has a weakness. How is it possible for him to be invincible?" Emmett knew that Axel was a strong man, but he hadn't expected such a conclusion.
Edward, on the other hand, had an answer to his questions. Now he understood why he couldn't read Axel's mind. Likewise, Alice understood why she hadn't seen Axel in her visions of the future. Axel's ability was truly advanced.
"I can't read his mind." Even though what Edward did was disrespectful, he didn't hesitate to say it. He thought it would be useful for a good alliance to be honest.
"Can you show me your skill?" Emmett wanted to see what an invincible man could do.
Jacob, on the other hand, preferred to remain silent. As a young Alpha shapeshifter, his experience with vampires was limited, and he was a bit gloomy about what he was hearing now. The prospect of an invincible vampire bothered him.
Axel looked around the house and decided that this was not the place to show off his talents. He got up and walked towards the garden.
Those who saw Axel go into the garden began to follow him. Edward didn't like Axel at first, but he thought that with him they could easily win the war against Victoria.
Axel looked at Emmett, who wanted to see his strength. Since he was the one who had asked the question, it would be most appropriate to show it to him. He didn't want to damage the environment by using it on an object or a tree. As long as it didn't cause any major damage to Emmett, it would be fine.
For Axel, who had been hunting radical vampires for a long time, it would not be difficult to adjust his power. He had learned a lot about controlling his power by practicing on the vampires he fought.
"Give me a hit. But I don't recommend using all of your power." The higher the magnitude of the vector in the punch, the more Axel has to direct the energy of that vector somewhere. Axel can direct some of the energy in this punch to Emmett and some to the air or some other target.
Emmett is unsure about throwing a punch, but he slowly comes to Axel's side.
Rosalie was a little worried that Emmett might get hurt.
John and Carlisle watched what was about to happen.
Emmett struck with his right hand at a speed beyond human speed. For a normal vampire this would be considered a powerful punch, but for Emmett it was just an average punch.
When Emmett's fist touched Axel, a huge sound wave was emitted and Emmett flew backwards and fell to the ground. He didn't suffer any serious injuries, but he was hurt.
Rosalie ran over to Emmett and started to check on him. "Are you okay?"
Emmett had not expected such an outcome after the punch he had just thrown. He was amazed that Axel was standing still, unharmed in the slightest.
Jacob was beginning to think that making enemies with such a vampire would have dire consequences.
John rushed over to Axel and put a hand on his shoulder. "You should be nicer to our friends." With his hand on Axel's shoulder, John turned to Emmett and saw him standing up. "I hope you didn't misunderstand."
John was like a real politician now. Even Axel couldn't tell if he was speaking his true mind or not.
Emmett tried to show that it was all right by laughing. "This guy is no joke. I just realized how powerful my punches are. Thank you for that."
John had gotten what he wanted, he planned to gain authority by showing that they were the stronger side. Now he could direct their plans as he wished.
"Axel, having an ally like Axel will really decide the winning side in this war. Let's continue our meeting where we left off." Carlisle was the first to speak after a short silence.
"Then let's go home." Esme opened the door of the house and invited everyone back inside.
After Esme's invitation, everyone took their seats again and waited for the plan to be made. The Cullen family didn't think John and Axel were that strong at first, but after seeing his power, they were quite serious. Before, they thought the more allies they had the better. Now, only with Axel could they win a big battle.
John smiled as he realized that this was the right setting for his speech and began to speak. "What we should do is kill them, but this is not a street fight. You cannot destroy an army just by killing its commander. Surely someone from within the army will take over as the new commander.
John's words showed the point.
"If we kill Victoria, there will be vampires who will escape. Wouldn't killing only the vampires fighting us solve the problem?" Esme was a little unhappy to hear that all vampires had to be killed. Although she thought the enemies should be killed, there was a possibility that those who did not want to fight and wanted to escape would be killed.
John had anticipated such a problem and smiled when he realized that he had not been wrong. "You're right about one thing. If we do what you say, we will solve the problem we face now. But even if the vampires who fled behind you don't hold a grudge against you, they will still be on the loose. You realize that the chances of them wreaking havoc as a group again are extremely high, right?"
"But..." Esme started to say something, but John cut her off.
"There are even worse possibilities. They will certainly cause the death of innocent people. Even if they want to feed here, the fact that their intentions are not evil does not change the fact that the outcome will be bad. Worst of all, if the vampires who survived the war here want to rebuild an army, it will be even bigger." After John finished speaking, there was a great silence in the room.
