The Gods of Dreams don't usually exist in the real Universe, nor in Subspace, Deep Space, the Spirit World, or the Projection Layer. They belong to a subsidiary Plane of the Main Universe. Of course, there are also Gods of Dreams who believe that the Dream Plane is actually an inactive, large-scale Abyss that is inherent to the Sixth Era.
Not all Abysses are tainted with corruption, and it is normal for Alien Gods to exist within the Abysses. Not to mention, the Dream Plane can naturally link to some strange Otherworlds.
However, compared to those aforementioned Planes, the Dream Plane is much more stable and reliable, basically inseparable from the shape and shadow of the Main Universe, and there is also a stable linkage passage between it and the Main Universe.
Meanwhile, the Gods of Dreams usually stay in the Dream Plane in a state of sleep and dreaming. Once they awaken, they fall into the physical universe.
