As Sofia's team secured the first artifact, a new threat emerged. The remnants of The Sovereign's network had regrouped under a new leader, a charismatic and ruthless figure known as "The Herald." The Herald was determined to carry on The Sovereign's legacy, using the portals to amass power and control the realms.
The Herald's network began launching attacks on Reclaimer bases and other strategic locations, causing chaos and disruption. The Council, already divided, struggled to respond effectively. Sofia's team realized that they had to act quickly to prevent The Herald from gaining too much ground.
The team returned to the Reclaimer base to warn the Council about The Herald's plans. However, their warnings were met with skepticism, as some Council members still believed in controlling the portals for their own gain. Sofia knew that they couldn't rely solely on the Council's support and decided to take matters into their own hands.
