Kids really love answering the phone.
As soon as Xiaocheng heard the ringing, he rushed over and picked up the receiver, then started speaking with practiced ease, "Hello! Who is this?"
Xinying watched her son's grown-up little act and couldn't help but smile at the corners of her mouth.
On the other end was Yan Ye.

"Who are you? Why do you care whether I've done my homework or not! You're not my dad!"
After Xiaocheng said that, Xinying immediately went over, took the receiver from his hand to see if it was Yan Ye, but by the time Xinying picked up, all she heard was the dial tone.
Yan Ye was driven mad by the cheeky kid.
