Su Ningxiu's matter was resolved much faster than Su Yunjin had anticipated; in just half a day, Gu Ya returned from outside, with blood on his clothes.
Su Yunjin was quite startled.
"Husband, are you hurt?" Su Yunjin rushed to Gu Ya's side, her face full of concern, and tried to check his injury. "Husband, where are you hurt? Let me take a look."
Su Yunjin reached out to untie Gu Ya's clothes, intending to see where he was injured. Gu Ya held her small hand, "Yunjin, don't worry, I'm fine."
There was blood on Gu Ya's body, but all of it belonged to someone else and was not his own. Su Yunjin felt slightly relieved, "Husband, what's with the blood on your robe?"
Gu Ya didn't answer his wife's question but instead took her hand and walked inside the house, "Yunjin, let's talk inside." The matter of Ningxiu couldn't be explained in a word or two. After they sat down in the room, he began to slowly narrate the events to her.
