Gu Ya watched as his little wife nodded.
He instructed her to wait for him again before he left the room. Soon, Gu Ya returned with a bowl of chicken soup and two bowls of rice.
Gu Ya had made the soup with an old hen, which was fragrant and well-cooked, and although no seasoning was added, it tasted fresh. Su Yunjin scooped up a spoonful to taste,
and smiled at Gu Ya.
"Husband, it's really delicious." This purely natural chicken soup was indeed the tastiest. Su Yunjin savored it, and after one spoonful, she took another.
Eating rice with chicken soup would be even more flavorful. Su Yunjin added some chicken soup to her rice and scooped it up with her spoon to eat, while Gu Ya still worried that his little wife might not enjoy the food he made.
Seeing his wife eating happily, a smile curled up the corners of Gu Ya's mouth. After Su Yunjin had a few bites, she looked up at Gu Ya, "Husband, aren't you eating? Why aren't you eating?"
