The little cat next to him gave him a disdainful look, and the young man with brown skin, thick eyebrows, and dark eyes scratched his nose awkwardly, pressing his lips tightly together in embarrassment.
"Is there danger?"
Sine asked the wanderer nervously in a low voice.
The wanderer shook his head in mild confusion: "No."
"Really no danger?"
Sine pressed again, unwilling to give up.
Originally, he didn't think much of these mercenaries. His spells—essential simulations of prophecy spells—were rooted in astrology, which in ancient times was the domain of mages. Back then, if given the choice, he'd rather waste his mana to perform divination himself than leave things to chance.
But now, his previous magic wand had already been rendered useless.
