"Sis, my brother-in-law really adores you!" An Ping gave Qin Jian a thumbs-up.
"Of course. If I were depending on you to dote on me, I'd have starved to death hundreds of times over." An Hao said contentedly as she snatched something from An Ping's hand.
She was like a big calico cat guarding its food, turning and heading towards the table.
"Sis, don't hog it all to yourself. At least let me share in the spoils." These past few days, everything An Ping ate tasted bland in his mouth.
Today, Qin Jian brought back so many goodies, An Ping smelled them and felt hungry and wanted to eat.
"What would you like to eat?" An Hao asked, batting her eyes at him.
"Hehe, roast chicken!" That was An Ping's favorite.
"Alright, alright!" An Hao gave in painfully and offered up the roast chicken, "Since you want to eat it too, let's all eat together."
"Brother-in-law, have you eaten yet?" An Ping offhandedly asked.
