Her hair only half-dry from the blow-dryer, she finally stumbled back to the bedroom, lay down next to Si Ye, turned off the lights, and went to sleep.
Just as she closed her eyes, a shadow suddenly flipped over and pressed down on her, Chen Zhi let out a startled cry, and then quieted down the next second.
"You're not drunk? You were pretending, weren't you?" Chen Zhi immediately realized.
Si Ye stared at her, his dark eyes shining even in the darkness, "No, I truly am drunk, but I kept a bit of sobriety. I couldn't possibly miss our wedding night, could I?"
Chen Zhi's face turned slightly red, and she pushed against his chest, whispering, "You should rest early too, everyone is tired today, you're tired, and so am I."
What she meant was, you might want to do it, but I don't want to, I'm tired and want to rest.
