"I took care of it," Barty replied simply, his gaze steady but distant, as though he were already far away.

Barty met Rhino's gaze, unflinching. "I used Alex's power," he admitted. "I froze the entire kingdom. Every knight, every guard, every citizen—they're encased in ice now. Slowly, the cold will take them. They'll perish where they stand, and Laury Kingdom will fall."
