The hum of the "Cleaner's Association" building had quieted down to a near whisper.
The adrenaline from the planning session had faded, and one by one, the team had retreated to whatever makeshift sleeping quarters they could find, exhaustion finally claiming them.
Ram, however, remained in the main operations room, the glow of the monitor doing little to illuminate the shadows that danced in the periphery.
He wasn't tired; his mind was still racing, processing the new information, the new plans, and the ever-present weight of his larger goals.
He heard a faint sound from the doorway and looked up.
