Boom
The crystal was blown into bits. They shielded themselves from the blast.
The Old man blinked. He was too stunned to say anything.
"Impossible.." He could only mutter in daze.
The crystal was fine, right!! Right!! Then...
He looked sharply between Anorax and the destroyed artifact.
Sigh.
He pulled out another crystal.
[Use little mana or else it will be the same.]
The crystals were extremely expensive treasures. They could withstand various energies without issue.
To destroy a crystal meant the element(s) was very strong or the energy infused was too powerful for it to handle.
'He is strange...'
The same thought flashed through their minds.
It went smoothly. He had red and lightning element.
[I hide everything else, it's better to leave things that way.]
'You did a great job my Lisa~.'
They left the building. Robert led them towards a large arena.
The place was crowded.
"Is it usually like this at every entry year?" Hilosura asked baffled.
There were many students probably in thousands walking around.
"Get used to it. This is just a fraction of the real deal." He said with a chuckle. The trio trailed behind him.
He showed them whatever he thought was useful. They asked various questions which he answered calmly.
He departed upon reaching the gathering. They got seats. At the stage, Professors sat. A middle-aged man walked forward.
"Am Professor Trevor, welcome to Xephila Voniac Academy, the only Academy to exist before time, our pride and guide. Its history..."
He gave an account for the Academy's history. The thousands of new students listened attentively though some slept off not caring for 'history'.
Professor Trevor concluded. His gaze swept through the crowd and nodded.
"Without any further ado, lets welcome our beloved Principal." He stepped aside, a figure stepped forward.
Though old, her beauty didn't diminish in the slightest. The Principal walked with a steady pace.
"It's good to have you here young ones. Feel free, treat this academy like your home."
"Congratulations to those that have managed to prove themselves and joined. I know how extremely hard our trials are but it's necessary."
She talked in an unhurried tone. Anorax had his eyes glued on this woman the moment she appeared.
He had felt a slight reaction from her though faint.
She scanned the crowd. She was sure she felt it this time. Among the new year students, here was someone who she has been looking for from Urax.
'I have felt it vividly this time, I will keep a close eye on them.'
The opening ceremony went smoothly. The Principal briefed them on the most important details.
Here monet was as good as useless. The system ran on points from ordinary missions, trade, transfers, etc. But..
High level missions earned you Karma value. Yeah, Karma value. Karma is very complex that it would affect reality greatly.
It affects one's luck of misfortune. It is most desired by most beings though its risks are unimaginable.
"So there are two systems altogether, huh." He muttered.
"Going after Karma seems like a pipe dream now." Hilosura said taking a deep breath.
"The Heaven awards Karma or powerful entities can transfer some at will, the third method is.." Niphilia said with a smile.
The duo looked at her in expectation. They were more interested in Karma than anything now.
"...killing. Honestly I don't know how it works. But you can take Karma from others after killing them." She said abit unsure. It wasn't about just killing, it was after killing specific beings she didn't know of.
"Okay lets get going, we need to go to our residences."
They headed towards a specific block. This block was only reserved for privileged students.
The block was not crowded. He escorted them to their rooms. Surprisingly, the two women had rooms close. His was a few rooms away.
Hilosura opened hers. They stepped in after her.
The room was big. Everything was neatly arranged. It had several separate chambers inside. It was luxurious and comfortable.
"The Academy is really generous to privileged students. I had thought of everything but they beat me to it." He couldn't help but say out loud.
"I used to hear about it from mother but guess she wasn't bragging." Niphilia giggled softly.
They had to arrange their rooms. As women, he needed to give them privacy. After sometime, he left.
He walked towards his room. He was curious how it looked.
Unsurprisingly, the interior was no different. He swiftly arranged his stuff.
"It's too comfortable~." Medusa said lying on the king-sized bed.
"You know, this Academy is very unique. It's in a separate or lets say its own dimension. Being on Urax but at the same time not~."
"You need to be careful in what you do here. There are numerous powerful entities here that I might have slightly lost count of. Most importantly, it's not only those from Urax here, the Academy has many entrances~."
"I was surprised to find direct descendants of Gods from the God realm here. This isn't good news~" Medusa said with a deep frown.
'What are they doing here?'
This question flashed through her head but she didn't have a suitable answer.
"Seems Gods are now interested in the affairs down here. You need to be careful around their descendants. Gods are dangerous for you currently." Lisaria said helping him arrange.
She made sure everything was perfect. She joined Medusa after. They laid on the bed peacefully. A sly grin appeared on his face.
He approached and made way in the middle. He caught them tightly. Lisaria didn't flinch, she slept off.
Medusa smiled seductively.
I can't control myself whenever am with this damn woman. Her very presence is charming.
She wears too revealing clothes which leave a strong reaction to my hormones.
I know better than to push my luck too far. This woman is very dangerous.
I moved towards her wrapping my hands around her waist. My head rested on her bare breasts.
Medusa smiled. Her hands brushed his silver hair gently. She could feel a sensation through her body. His head pressed against her big breasts.
'He is cute.'

A group of three Princes had also appeared in the Academy. They were in a separate block.
As they walked, they couldn't help but express their displeasure.
The two women, who they had thought of coming with as a 'group', dumped them and decided to come alone.
"Hey." Prince Reila called out.
A group of three had appeared. They had also been assigned on the same block.
They turned around. Their composure full of pride and arrogance.
"Do you need anything?" Persius asked.
The other two, Urelia and Cirius looked at three men silently.
"Am Reila, these two are my friends, Eliot and Dralot." He paused, a smile gracing his lips. "Since we are all new here, I hope we can make good friends."
"Tsk." Cirius clicked his tongue.
"Oh my." Urelia raised a eyebrow.
"Though tempting, we have different circumstances. Hope you we meet again sometime." Persius said walking away. He saw that it was beneath them to entangle with those weaklings.
The trio hailed from the God realm. Their arrogance was off the charts.
"I nearly thought you fell too lowly there, Persius. We only need powerful allies here." Cirius said seriously without glancing back.
Urelia flashed a mischievous smile but said nothing. Personally, she somehow shared Cirius' reasoning here.
The group behind was left in bitter irritation. They, who were favoured and loved by billions of people, were being treated as air.
"What did you expect buddy, it won't be easy I'd you keep it that way." Dralot said walking towards his room. He glanced at the trio.
