His closeness did something to Aniya's heartbeat, sending her heart into a frenzy. Slowly she turned around in his arms and lo and behold.

A tall, suited man stared back at her, his piercing gaze locking with hers.

And he was gorgeous.
Who was he?
"Oh, God! What is Mr. George Donovan doing here?" Aniya heard a voice close by.
"He hardly acknowledges his employee's presence and here he is holding the girl like… he cares."
George Donovan?
Aniya felt her ears perking up at the mention of the CEO's name.
"Ms. Paige Fletcher?" he asked the taller woman silkily who had a big coffee stain on her blouse while his arms were still around Aniya.
A chill ran down Aniya's spine when she saw the small crowd.
"Sir," Paige cleared her throat, "She was carrying hot coffee, and it burned me. She moved so clumsily…" Paige trailed off when she noticed her boss looking at her as if he might swallow her whole.
