Jonathan swiftly recognized the mysterious voice. He looked around and spotted Verdantia's King approaching with his armored guards on horses.
Jonathan grunted and murmured before he stepped aside, "Your life has been safe, but trust me. I will be the reason for your death." Jonathan continued, "Remember when I am done with you. I will feast on your loved ones. " Arrogance and anger were dripping from Jonathan's face as he spoke.
Kai remained calm and removed his hand from his mask, but the mask got stained by Tristan's blood. Kai remained silent. He did not respond to Jonathan and waited for Verdantia's King to arrive.
As the Verdantia King arrived with his two advisors on each of his sides and a hundred armored soldiers behind him, he remained seated on his horse and observed his surroundings. He first looked at injured Tristan, then shifted his gaze towards Kai.
