The Sumitra Zen Institute is located on Lotus Platform Mountain, a precious mountain monastery. Though the mountain path is difficult, its incense offering ceremonies are flourishing; countless believers constantly brave hardships and traverse mountains and rivers to present their offerings.
A huge city has long since formed at the foot of Lotus Platform Mountain.
With its bustling silks and satins, noisy flutes and drums, boats clouding the waters, the bustle never ceases, night or day.
Moreover, the mighty Guicang River flows through here, bringing fertile land as far as the eye can see, watering countless fields on both banks, where waves of wheat ripple in the wind and the scent of rice blooms speaks of bountiful years; truly a sight to behold.
The Sumitra Zen Institute is divided into a front and a back temple.
