Angelo woke up to find himself in his room. His last memory before sleeping was while they were in the car so it was easy to deduce that Nikolai had been the one to bring him up.
He shot upright, his face burning, the Mafia King didn't have to go through all that trouble, Angelo could make his way up to the penthouse just fine by himself.
Angelo didn't want to face Nikolai just yet, and that was based on his assumptions that the Mafia King was in the penthouse. He might have made excuses for them to return early because he noticed him dozing off.
Angelo got off the bed, in a huff. He had slept off on his first day on the job and had to be carried back to his room, his ego had really taken a big hit from that. Never mind how quickly he seemed to fall asleep these days, was it still a leftover side effect from his heat?
