Chapter 347 - 347. Another Victory

Hello and sorry that I couldn't post for the past 2 days.

I got the job, which is good for me but it does also unfortunately mean that I won't have that same amount of free time to write these chapters.

Don't worry, I won't abandon this work what I spent preety much a year on, I will just be updating it slower.

My apologies and have a good day.

Thrash is a crazy powerful move that is also a Normal-type attack, and many of Ash's own Pokémon's have also learned how to use this skill.

Some are very skilled at it like his Annihilape who can continue it for some time and some are not ready to use it properly in real battles.

But such skills are usually used as the last move or one last combo move to deal with the opponent, because this move requires the Pokémon to attack desperately and madly, often in a very confused way. After the user is exhausted from using this move, they will fall into the annoying Confusion status condition.

But now, no one really cared about that little fact, it was not that important.

It was quite that that Juan and Ash are going to face off head-on, and there is absolutely no need to change it, so Juan decisively launches an all-out attack from they very beginning, without any boosts or anything at all to give him the advantages.

Swampert did not undergo his Bonds Evolutions as he and Ash felt that was not needed for such a little timeframe.

His arms were very juicied up from all the trainings and steroids he does routinely, but they also had the strength to back those muscles up.

That powerful and hard Hammer Arm on the big and thick and juicy hand of Swampert whipped up Juan's Whiscash and landed perfectly on its abdomen as Whiscashs own Thrash hit Swampert.

"Come on!"

Thrash's attack has not ended yet, Juan's fighting spirit has reached its limit since the beginning of this battle, and the little eyes of his Whiscash were also showing a fierce light that it didn't have for some time now.

Its round body suddenly bounced on the ground and attacked Swampert again.

"That Whiscash is so powerful!" Brock exclaimed in his admiration.

'Juan is indeed a top Pokémon Coordinator and an elite Pokémon Trainer, every one of his Pokémon are excellent. They do things that they normally should not be able to do.' Brock though.

But the Pokémon's belonging to Ash were also not that simple, in fact they were very far from being called simple.

Swampert was hit away and hit the Rocky formation by the end of the stream, but he managed to land on the ground with a proper stance and managed to not hurt himself at all, he now had a intense look of flames in his usual clear eyes.

"It's my turn to cause some real damage!" Ash clenched his fist and looked at Whiscash who was about to hit again, "Now, use Superpower!"

This was a very powerful Fighting-type attack that his Swampert further learned to better use proficiently when he and Feraligatr were training together back in the lab along with some of the other Pokémon's. Ash gave the command, and scarlet blood like aura spread out from Swampert's body, something that liked quite off putting for a Water-type Pokémon like him.

At this moment, the huge body of Whiscash again splashed high and pressed hard towards Swampert. This was the Body Slam attack that it managed to use despite now being Confused under Thrash's after attack, but it was still the perfect attack that gave Swampert an opportunity to take advantage anal complete his attack.

Juan closed his eyes and nodded his head, Ash had won this round again.

Whiscash came from above, and Swampert's Superpower punched it directly on its weak point, its abdomen, sending it flying away and hitting the roof of the arena.

It was obviously a dual Water-type and Ground-type Pokémon, but it has strayed far away from both the water and the land, trying to become a creature of the sky.

{Team SKYYYYYY!!}

A move like Thrash is considered a double-edged sword exactly because of this. It can only be said that Juan, a great Pokémon Trainer in his own right, lost to Ash, the main character, in terms of luck.

That was not his fault at all, even without the luck factor, he would have lost.

Swampert was just better.

That's all there is to it.

"Come back, Whiscash! You did well, old friend!" Juan took back his defeated Whiscash, which had now regained his ability to move regularly like before going into using Thrash. Sebastian as the referee for this battle had only now realized that the victory of the previous battle had been decided in just under two minutes.

It was really something considering the power level of both of these Pokémon's.

"Swampert, you come back too! Yiu did well, now rest and leave it to the rest of our friends!" Although Swampert, Kingler, and Crawdaunt could still battle, Ash had already previously decided on making this Gym Battle a one-on-one battle instead of continuing to use any of his past Pokémon's that already battled.

"Ash, I seem to understand you even better now, this is one of the real reasons on why Steven was so full of praise for you, and why he gave you that child full of potential!" Juan raised his head and looked at Ash in front of him on the other side of the field, "The bond between you and your Pokémon's is something that I can see truly transcend all things I have seen in my life, this is the real source of your power, your bond and heart!"

"Ash! Let me challenge your bond with my own!" Juan wanted to test Ash's power and see if he was truly ready for what he could possibly face in his future.

Unfortunately for him, he still had no clue that Ash had already caught quite a few Legendary Pokémon's.

He only knew absolut Latios, the others were all hidden away by Lance and the others before they can truly become public.

Even the incident from LaRousse City was made a secret by them.

But knew he was even more curious about Ash's next Water-type Pokémon.

"Please help me out, my beloved Luvdisc!"

Unexpectedly, what Juan sent out this time was actually just a little Pokémon that looked like a heart. It looked quite cute and small, but also very delicate and weak.

In fact, since Juan is a veteran Water-type Pokémon Trainer, so his Gym here obviously had all kinds of unique Water-type Pokémon's from many regions.

And there are some very powerful ones among them, like his own Pokémon's, his secret Ace Kingdra was also amongst them, but out of all of them he chose a Luvdisc. There must be some deeper meaning behind it, or he really didn't care about what Pokémon's he chose now.

Ash had no doubts about him. His next two Pokémon's were already as clear as water to him (GETT OUTT). His Milotic must be saved until the end to challenge Juan's own world famous Milotic!

Then there was only this one he can send, "Stand by for battle, Sharpedo!"

[You mean swim by for battle? Uwu… sorry, I'll stop taking.] Ciel said with a cringed face after seeing the face her love made towards her.

The leaders of all those Sharpedo caught by Ash at pretty much the beginning of his Hoenn Region Journey appeared for his first Gym Battle. He has been traveling between all the islands recently, so Ash was finally able to get the opportunity to train his Sharpedo personally from his own experience and eyes.

Before he was training with him, the main one that that trained it it was was Feraligatr.

But because Sharpedo was training more with Feraligatr than anyone else, he also got some of Feraligatrs childish charms.

And sometimes with Gyarados too but only sometimes as Gyarados was trying to get closer to Milotic, but Milotic didn't seem to care about him thay much.

The only thing she needs in her life was her beloved Trainer and his praise towards her.

And speaking of love, Ash specifically had to have a conversation with his Tyranitar and Rhyperior that if they want to do the deed, do it in their own private times.

Poor Phanpy saw them doing it once and now he is permanently mentally scarred, he was never able to look at the two Pokémon's he thought as his mom and dad the same ever again.

-

{RIP for my boy Phanpy, his innocence will be missed...}

This matchup here this time was indeed very interesting, one was a small soft and cute fish Pokémon, while the other was BLACK fierce and scary looking shark.

The moment Ash's Sharpedo appeared on the water surface, Juan's eyes lit up. He had already seen Ash's past Water-type Pokémon's, and each one was better than the last. This Sharpedo was really powerful, tho not as powerful as that last Swampert. But maybe just as strong as that Kingler and most likely that Crawdaunt.

"I'll be the one to attack first!" Ash just wanted to maintain his fighting momentum and get the best for what he can, "Use Aqua Jet!"

-

-

{Note: Can we talk about how this was originally the only Water-type attack that Sharpedo could have learn by leveling up? And the worst part is that it's as recent as fuking Gen 7. Like why?}

-

-

This big BLACK shark without a tail performed this very fast move by spouting up a thick water column from behind, which in itself can be used well if you know how to.

At this moment in the water area, Sharpedo's speed has reached very high. He was covered with dark blue Water-type energy, which is mit exactly water itself, and he pretty much instantly arrived in front of Luvdisc, it was like all in the blink of an eye.

"Avoid that and use Water Pulse to attack back!"

But Luvdisc as a quite small and agile Pokémon is also very fast, not to mention this was the very same one Juan has painstakingly trained for years for exactly this reason. Yes, that's right, this was his main team Luvdisc. Its small body seems to be gliding like one of those bugs on the water surface, barely a part under it, and it avoided Sharpedo's attack at the last moment.

In this water venue, the display effect of Water Pulse was actually completely different from other places. It's small body seems to be carrying huge power, setting off a wave and hitting Sharpedo.

"Use Liquidation!"

This was another one new Water-type attack that Ash, and his GOAT Feraligatr, spent a lot of effort to get his Sharpedo to learn.

All they saw was as a powerful water force flowing on Sharpedo's blade-like shark fins, and a terrifying scene from a great scary movie appeared.

On the surface of the water, only the terrifying shark fins were left, and the water on it was even more terrifying as it was very sharp. It very was cut off the incoming Water Pulse and knocked Luvdisc away.

"Use Sweet Kiss!"

However, Juan didn't show his panicked face. Under his command, his Luvdisc opened its eyes, its small body moved circular in the air after jumping up, and blew a kiss towards Sharpedo in the water.

At this moment, since Sharpedo just used a move, it didn't see what was behind it. Even Ash couldn't tell it to avoid it as it immediately reached his Sharpedo. Sharpedo was immediately hit by Luvdisc's sudden and quick Sweet Kiss.

"Oh no, Sharpedo is now confused!" Brock knew the effect of Sweet Kiss very well, he was used to seeing Ash's own Togetic use this move in her friends.

Ash frowned, but not panicked. It seemed that the main reason Cathy Juan choose to let his Luvdisc battle was in order to use its signature Sweet Kiss move to throw the opponent into a powerful confused state and then chip away at its health from there in out. And if needed to, it could also run away because of its very fast speed.

If his Pokémon gets confused and is now longer in control, will Ash lose?

No, he won't.

He had countermeasures to such circumstances.

"Sharpedo, use Crunch!"

Ash didn't seem to care that his Sharpedo was now confused, but still issued the order.

However, Juan did notice that for the first time he shouted out his Pokémon's name other than a finishing move for style.

From the beginning of the battle to now, Ash had always simply command his Pokémon's to just to call out the name of a move and that's it. Even Juan himself needed to call out the name of his Pokémon's to establish contact, otherwise it just didn't feel right, and this was to increase the momentum and maintain their fighting spirit.

But Ash's order were very simple to follow for his Pokémon's. It wasn't until Sharpedo fell into ots confused state that Ash finally brought out his big gun.

Being in a state of confusion that does not mean that you couldn't launch attacks of your own, but it was just that there was a certain probability that you will attack yourself due to not being in full control. If you are unlucky, it was actually very possible that you can knock yourself out but by but because of this.

But how can the bond between Ash and Pokémon's be severed by just them being stuck in confusion? After all, this was a power that was given, well more like powered up to the limits, my some overpowered dude that just happened to be bored. So it's fine.

Sharpedo took action, and the water flow behind his spit up, and it suddenly rushed in front of Luvdisc, and its terrifying while fangs gnawed hard on the little pink think.

"Luvdisc loses the ability to fight, meaning Sharpedo wins this round!"
