got pretty damn sick to the point of barely being able to move then i started new job site training so i've been busy as while I was sick I let go from the previous site I was posted at

Leaving the security room we looked around the lobby while taking it slow, as no one was around and there was blood in places with stuff thrown about. In spot there were scorch marks with a discarded hairspray can and a lighter that looked as if they were dropped when their user was probably lifted up into the air. Given the lack of blood or scuff marks from a struggle behind where they should've been standing. So either an airborne Typhon, a Nightmare, or multiple smaller ones made them leave the ground abruptly, looking up and up I eventually spotted a mummified corpse dangling over a railing. Poor bastard probably got sucked really good for all their insides and stuff, because it's just skin sticking to bones from what I see.
Shrugging when I noticed Sasha saw the same sight, we just decided to wander around the place without any plans on what to do aside from me finding a fabricator. I was going to steal the thing by turning it into a turret since its advanced technology that I won't likely come by very often so I wasn't going to just give it up. Talos was interesting to say the least though, so many interesting things to see and take for our own. It's why Sasha has been stealing furniture not nailed down and moving it into my demiplane to bring some more life to the desolate halls and rooms of the dimension.
I didn't even prompt her to steal things, she just started taking the furniture she liked without question since dead people won't need it. When we found a fabricator I was upon the machine without restraint, clawed fingers moving quickly as I gutted and unbolted the machine from the flooring. Tools seemingly teleporting and swapping places within my hands due to how fast I would switch between them with a manic laughter while working.
It took about five hours before I was done, the fabricator now making up a new turret type that was purely for infrastructure and support purposes. Storing the turret when it suddenly compacted itself into a large book sized coffin, the turret secured onto the inside of my coat for later use. The fabricator blueprint became another known blueprint for me and damn was the blueprint a beautiful piece of work, but also I noticed some redundancies with its design to be rectified later. Sasha and Rory seemed to have killed a few mimics while I was busy, with a lot of the surrounding area now bereft of furniture. Sasha found some Neuromods while looting furniture, but I just gave the things an impassive look before storing them in a secured bag of holding that wasn't an infusion.
Because fuck if I was going to use them even after playing the game and knowing how useful they can be. I still didn't know how deep the Hivemind went with any amount inside someone, or what all it can do to someone with trace amounts inside their head. So if we find Morgan or someone else they can have the damned things. As yeah, messing with Typhon's doesn't end well for people in this universe given the Aphex Typhon practically destroyed all life on earth after consuming Talos. After some more exploring of the lobby I eventually found the right way to Morgan's office, bypassing the door lock entirely before entering the room. Once we were inside of it I stood before his looking glass, messing with the device remotely through some spells to learn its ins and out. The tech being rather cool so I wanted to get its blueprint while in the area as this was something I was interested in seeing if I couldn't turn into a spell for some Virtual Variations to my spells, like Dimension Door to be able to step into the digital world at will. Sasha and Rory were playing solitaire on it while I fiddled with it through spells.
I didn't flinch when I felt a wrench smack me in the back, turning my head to look down at the cause I just snorted seeing a frantic Morgan Yu. The mad scientist being completely human, as this isn't currently a simulation, no this was very much the still living and non-phantomitized Morgan that hit me. My snort startles him, before he could hit the others and likely die, I grabbed his wrist and lowered the raised wrench.
"Calm thy sugar tits before you hurt yourself."
"S-sugar tits? I'm a man though… that saying is also ancient."
"So am I, yet we both still have tits even if they're flat against our chest."
Morgan looked at me as if I was making a horrible joke, I was and wasn't as it was also a fact.
"Okay… Just who and what the hell are you three, because that isn't a regular snake. Is it even really a snake?"
"Kaiser Lockhart, professional menace in magic fuckery, and Wendigo variant after losing my humanity. The werewolf is Sasha, and the snake is a Basilisk called Rory. She is extremely large and long when not under the constant effect of ritual spell to reduce her size, she'd break a lot of walls suddenly if I just stopped shrinking her to her current size."
Before he could say anything about magic not being real, I screwed with his sense of perception using the Dimension Door spell as if I was making him go through a Portal Experience, until finally scaring him with a fireball extremely close to his face. The ball of fire being inert and eventually fizzling out as I don't use the spell to do anything. Yet that didn't stop the disoriented man from falling on his ass with a scream.
"Okay… Okay magic is real, and you're an asshole. What are you doing in my office though?"
"I'm just messing with the screen, I got its blueprint when you hit me, but I'm still testing it out since I'm curious."
"Did you just put minecraft onto the Looking Glass?"
I very much did, and it was amusing watching Sasha puppy brain when it happened after Rory beat her in solitaire. Although I looked at Morgan curiously as we watched her continue to puppy brain.
"You know you've rather easily accepted our bullshit, you alright mentally?"
"No… no I'm not and that's the issue. My mind is fractured and I'm close to having a full on meltdown, but if I don't keep it together then everyone on this station will die. So even if you're a sex doll I'd have to accept it because I don't know what is possible anymore with Typhons influencing everything. Least of all with my memories so shot full of holes it's a miracle I even remember how to take a shit."
Had to say, he made a point with some points made but also he was a dumbass with others. Clicking my jaws together, I got to running numbers needed for a rather insane idea because I was game to help THIS version of Morgan. Grabbing the Jack coming through a misty summoning circle, I looked at her and I could only sigh in weary acceptance. After so many years a new Jack Class was made… Caster Jack the Ripper. The Jackie clone was dressed like a professional assassin and witch combined, her knives being magical foci that were extremely cursed. What the fuck Jackie. What the absolute fuck did you do to become a caster finally?
"I shanked a man in the ass! This weird bad kid tried to take over the spirit origin of Assassin! Their soul doesn't play well with other children in the mist, but it's only a matter of time before he's one of us! All abandoned, abused, and broken children of Britain eventually join us!"
"Oh god fucking damn it Jackie…."
Morgan looked at us weirdly but wisely chose not to say anything as I set Jackie on one of my shoulders. Well I may have a use for Caster Jackie already given one of her abilities revolves around runes tied to the Undying and Odin due to knowledge she's been learning over the years. She also wasn't kidding; she was likely assimilating the child version of Voldemort's soul given she is a bunch of child souls, which was just disturbing. I don't think he was ready for Jack the Ripper, the collective existence of damned children in London England, to eat his soul fragment after killing his book. But hey she'll apparently become the most pure Dark Lord once all of his horcruxes are destroyed if one skill has anything to go by. After getting everything I wanted from the Looking Glass in Morgan's office, we left with Morgan since it was going to be an interesting time on Talos. Plus I couldn't just leave a man so dead on his feet and trying to change to die like a dog alone in this place. With Rory wrapped around my shoulders and one arm, I stopped Morgan from just running off to play hero like a tired dumbass.
Instead I grabbed the man and dragged him through a Demiplane doorway to force him to take a break after applying the ritual onto a wall. The man protested, but I simply didn't give that much thought as I dragged him through the halls of Chaldeas and to the cafeteria. Where the usual gaggle of Jacks, Harry, Sirius, surprisingly Neville, Hermione, and Luna all sat eating breakfast with Arthur who was currently wearing a blue and gold suit and tie. Upon hearing us enter everyone turned to look at us, most looking at Morgan curiously while the man himself looked stumped.
"Yo, I'm forcing this dipshit to take a break before he dies of exhaustion. Jackie, go sit with your sisters and brother. Arthur, Sasha keep our guest from trying to run off to his death while I go get some food for our group."
Forcing Morgan into a seat near Arthur and Sirius, I went to the kitchen with Rory still attached to me like an oversized scarf as I made some sandwiches. Twenty to be shared between Sasha and Morgan, while there was forty made with anything considered humanoids remains for myself with rabbits for Rory. The Basilisk enjoyed her meals with relish given she really hadn't eaten a lot in her time while protecting Hogwarts. As far as I know Dumbledore knows I essentially took the schools guard dog and hasn't said anything given I wouldn't bend a knee or would do something he wouldn't like. Like transferring Harry to a different magic school or homeschooling him. The old bastard can't have that given he needs my son for his "prophecy" that's still just a bunch of bullshit adults are trying to hoist onto a child. When I sat the regular sandwiches in front of Morgan and Sasha I took my own seat to eat my own food while feeding Rory another rabbit.
Morgan sighed as he ate in relative silence unless he answered some questions from the kids about rather mundane things which did seem to take some of the weight off his shoulders. Chuckling I watched everything unfold between everyone here and Morgan, the scientist becoming more lively as time passed before he suddenly fell asleep. His body finally giving out and falling asleep on its own once he had sufficiently relaxed enough that it could trigger such a response. Hauling him over one of my shoulders as I got up, I stopped to think before turning to Arthur and asking something.
"Could your lance kill something the size of a planet or two together?"
"Yes. Should you ever need my services all you have to do is ask. Ask and I shall put all against you underheel with my lance in hand and Camelot at my back. What are friends for? I'm also your Servant so it's only right."
Waving off that last bit I walked out of the cafeteria carrying Morgan to my workshop and tossing him into the bed that Harry would sleep in when he was younger as I worked. The scientist did not wake up for a single second as his body sunk into the bed and just relaxed further than before as I could see muscles relaxing further. My crimson eyes catching every little detail in picture perfect clarity that I scoffed at myself when I remember why I could see this clearly when it concerns humans.
