Lin Moyu could sense that Wood Slaughter Realm Master was sincere. Although the realm master knew Lin Moyu had lured the Great Dao Beast King, he harbored no intention of killing him or claiming the bounty.
Lin Moyu sighed lightly. "The Great Dao Beast King is indeed incredibly powerful I had to use every trick I had just to escape."

Lin Moyu asked cautiously, "Are you sure you don't plan to turn me in? The bounty reward is quite tempting."
The realm master chuckled. "The bounty was something we realm masters agreed upon collectively. Honestly, we never expected to find the culprit and this isn't the first time something like this has happened. It's not a big deal."
Lin Moyu inquired further, "What about the Dao Lords who died?"
Wood Slaughter Realm Master laughed softly. "Don't you think this was just their fate? For cultivators, events like this are trials that test their resilience."
Lin Moyu frowned slightly but didn't respond. He had considered this perspective before, but as someone who defied fate through cultivation, he was reluctant to accept that everything was predestined.
Seeing Lin Moyu's hesitation, the realm master elaborated, "You're right cultivators walk a path that defies fate and destiny. But fate does exist. Once someone achieves Great Dao level, they can live forever provided they avoid accidents."

Lin Moyu asked curiously, "If that's the case why don't you work together to lure it out with treasure materials?"
Wood Slaughter Realm Master shook his head. "We do but only once every ten thousand years and under strict orders."
"Great Dao Beast Kings vary in strength and they don't appear alone. If multiple strong ones show up simultaneously it becomes problematic for us."
"Over the years many realm masters have died fighting them."
"Moreover even if we kill them their essence doesn't belong to us it goes to Human Sovereign," he added with a sigh.
Lin Moyu frowned deeply. "Human Sovereign?"
Wood Slaughter Realm Master confirmed, "Indeed the essence of every beast king belongs to him. But he has limitations he won't act directly."
Human Sovereign didn't intervene personally instead tasking realm masters with luring out beast kings every ten thousand years while claiming their essence for himself.
Lin Moyu felt the sheer arrogance of Human Sovereign's actions it was utterly unreasonable.
But at such a high level of existence overbearing behavior seemed inevitable decisions were made selfishly without regard for others.
At this point, Wood Slaughter Realm Master took out a collection of materials all top-tier Dao Lord-grade items with rare attributes.

After some thought the realm master handed Lin Moyu a black leaf and explained:
"This is called Black Kill Leaf a treasure refined from my origin core it contains Killing Great Dao and my aura."
"If you carry it it will cloak you in Killing Great Dao masking your appearance while emitting my aura."
"This way others will assume you're one of my subordinates and generally won't trouble you."
Accepting the leaf gratefully Lin Moyu remarked, "This leaf must have other functions too, right?"
The realm master nodded. "Of course it can also be activated offensively delivering an attack equivalent to my full power but it's single-use; once activated the leaf will crumble."
Black Kill Leaf was essentially a one-time-use treasure capable of unleashing top-tier power a rare and valuable item.
Thanking him sincerely Lin Moyu said, "If I refine more pills I'll definitely seek you out again. For now I'll take my leave."
The realm master wished him well: "Safe travels, Lin Friend."
Activating Black Kill Leaf Lin Moyu followed his spirit domain compass and flew toward the edge of World Tree Great Spirit Domain.
Shrouded in Killing Great Dao and exuding Wood Slaughter Realm Master's aura no one dared bother him along the way.

Self-interest prevailed even among realm masters.
One colleague asked quietly: "Why didn't you keep him here to refine more pills for us?"
