I was in the school infirmary, casually going over some minor medical supplies that could come in handy. Nothing big—just painkillers, antiseptics, and gauze. You know, basic survival stuff.
And that's when I heard the door slam open.
A very familiar, soft and almost dreamy voice floated in.
"Ohhh? A student? Here? How rare~"
I turned—and there she was.
Shizuka Marikawa.
She was standing in the doorway, a loose white coat barely hanging onto her shoulders, exposing more skin than it probably should have. Beneath it, she wore her usual tight pink blouse, so strained against her very generous proportions that I was genuinely concerned about the integrity of the buttons.
Her skirt was slightly misaligned, and she was holding a clipboard… upside down.
I blinked. "… Sensei?"
She tilted her head. "Hmm? You're… Di Balla-kun, right?"
"Yeah."
She tapped her chin, thinking. "Ohhh! You're that student Kyoko-chan keeps talking about~! She said you're a bit of a troublemaker, but a smart one!"
I smirked. "I'll take that as a compliment."
Shizuka smiled brightly. "You should! I'm sure Kyoko-chan meant it with love~"
I highly doubted that, but I wasn't about to argue.
Then, Shizuka leaned in a bit too close, peering at the supplies I had gathered. "Oh my~! You're very prepared for a student! Are you studying medicine?"
"No," I said, carefully stepping back. "Just… being cautious."
She pouted. "Ohh, that's no fun! You should consider medicine! I'd love to have such a strong assistant~"
She giggled, pressing her finger to her lips innocently—which did absolutely nothing to help the fact that her chest bounced slightly with the motion.
And that was when I accidentally activated my Information System.
Name: Shizuka Marikawa
Age: 27
Survival Level: 4/10 (Tier 1)
Survival Abilities: 3 – (Medical Expertise (lvl.2) / Driving Proficiency / Morale Booster)
Recent Growth: Minimal combat skills, but extremely valuable in medical and vehicle operations. High adaptability under stress, despite outward appearance.
Emotional Status: Naturally trusting, often underestimates dangers. Socially warm and affectionate. Sees Marco as an intriguing student, but hasn't thought of him in a deeper sense yet.
I internally sighed. Of course she had no combat skills. But her medical knowledge and driving skills? Those were critical.
I turned off the system before she could notice me staring.
Shizuka tilted her head again. "Hmm? Did you get lost in thought, Di Balla-kun~?"
I smirked. "Just thinking about something."
She beamed. "Ohh! I like students who think! It's rare these days, you know~"
I chuckled. "Sensei, do you always talk like this?"
"Hmm? Like what?"
"Like you're flirting without realizing it."
Her eyes widened. "EHHHH?!"
She waved her hands dramatically, nearly dropping her clipboard. "I'm not flirting! I'm just… very friendly! That's all~!"
I laughed. "Uh-huh. Sure."
Shizuka pouted. "Mouuu~! You're teasing me, aren't you?"
I smirked. "Maybe."
She puffed her cheeks in frustration… but the effect wasn't intimidating. At all.

Somehow, one thing led to another, and before I knew it, I was sitting on the infirmary bed with Shizuka checking my pulse.
Bad idea. Very bad idea.
Her soft hands held my wrist, her touch gentle, warm, and completely distracting.
"Hmm," she hummed, completely oblivious to the effect she was having. "You seem very healthy, Di Balla-kun! Your pulse is strong, and you're in excellent shape~"
I smirked. "Thanks, Sensei."
Then, she leaned in closer, her face far too near mine, as if inspecting something.
"Ahhh, such nice skin too~! I bet the girls love that!"
I swallowed. "…Sensei."
"Hm?"
"You do realize your… um…" I gestured vaguely toward her chest, which was very much pressing against my arm at this point.
She blinked, tilting her head in genuine confusion. "Eh?"
Then she followed my gaze.
Pause.
Silence.
Then—
"KYAAA!!!"
She jumped away so fast she nearly fell over, flailing her arms in panic. "I-I DIDN'T MEAN TO—! I WAS JUST—! AHHH, SO EMBARRASSING~!"
I burst out laughing.
"Oh god, Sensei, you're too easy to mess with."
She puffed her cheeks again, glaring at me with zero actual malice. "Meanie! You should have told me sooner!"
I wiped a tear from my eye. "I thought you'd figure it out yourself. Guess not."
She huffed, turning away dramatically. "Hmph! I'll have you know that I am a very professional nurse!"
I smirked. "Yeah, sure. Totally professional."
She shot me a look over her shoulder. "You're making fun of me again!"
I shrugged. "Maybe a little."
She pouted harder… but then giggled. "You're funny, Di Balla-kun~"
I smiled. "And you're… well, you."
She blinked. "Eh? What's that supposed to mean?"
I stood, stretching. "You'll figure it out."

As I left the infirmary, I knew one thing for sure.
Shizuka Marikawa might be a walking disaster, but she was important.
She could drive, she could heal, and—despite her absentmindedness—she had one of the warmest hearts I had ever encountered.
I had a feeling this wouldn't be the last time I ended up in one of her "accidental" situations.
And honestly?
I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a very dangerous thing.
