Axel, Anzo, Blitz, Beatrice, and Lila moved swiftly, guiding the last group of civilians toward Alister. Some were still dazed, others shaken, but at least they were alive.
Lila approached Alister, her hands clasped together, her expression serious.
"We've rounded up as many as we could. A total of seventy-three civilians were found within the area. Four were unresponsive, but… they hadn't turned yet. We've separated them for observation."
Before Alister could respond, a burst of purple lightning crackled through the air. Fenris materialized, her violet eyes glowing as she knelt before him.
"My lord, some of them had already turned before I could reach them. I had no choice but to put them down."
