"Dumbfounded?" Huangfu Zheng strode in with his long legs and raised an eyebrow toward the little dazed fool.
"You... how did you get here?" Tang Anzhi looked at the man who seemed to have descended from the heavens, still somewhat in disbelief.
"I came over because I missed you!" Huangfu Zheng's thin lips lightly uttered those somewhat flirtatious words.
His jet-black hair, perhaps tousled by the wind, was not neatly in place at the moment, slanting across his handsome, upward-tilting brows. Those sharp black eyes swept across the hospital bed before indifferently retracting their gaze.
Tang Anzhi's ears heated up at his statement, thankfully there was no one else in the ward at the time besides her cousin who was already in a pain-induced sleep.
She didn't follow up on his remark but instead changed the subject, "Have you eaten yet?"
"Not yet—" Huangfu Zheng casually said with his hands in his pockets, looking down at the person sitting in the chair.
