Wang Meng blew an excited whistle and immediately stepped on the gas, driving back in the direction they came from.
Tang Anzhi rolled her eyes inwardly upon seeing his excited demeanor.
Neither spoke, and after driving for a while, Wang Meng eventually broke the silence, "Are you feeling any better now?"
Tang Anzhi was momentarily taken aback by his question but managed not to show it on her face. Only when the car stopped in front of the office and she was about to get out, did she lean in and whisper a soft "Thank you." Then she stepped out of the car and never looked back.
Her voice was very soft, but Wang Meng heard it. His smile almost stretched from ear to ear, and the bright light in his brown pupils, if given a chance to hang in the sky, could probably compete with the stars at night.
