Volume 10, Chapter 41 - The Sunstone Trio Returns
Five Minutes Ago, Northern Trilan Sea
On the Northern Trilan Sea, five LUO ships filled the seas, heading toward a small village in their target country of the Land Of Trila. On the deck of the leading ship sat Saroya, one of the first lead performers of LUO, being right next to the boss Nana in ranks. "We're approaching Trila, my lord!" a soldier exclaimed, escorting Saroya out of the dining room that she had finished eating in just now. "You shouldn't go straight into Trila - you're just going to cause a scene and summon Uma Sahua and his slaves!" Saroya sighed, punching the man that bowed down to her in the face. "You're being a real nuisance! Shut up before I annihilate you just like I did to the other hundred troops that dared to talk back to me!" The soldier hesitated, emerging off the ground and going back to the bow of the ship. "If Saroya goes into Trila like this, I doubt we're going to have our lives after all this happens…"
Suddenly, a massive thud sounded, changing the direction and intensity of the waves. The ocean was now dead silent. "What the hell happened!? You all went quiet along with the atmosphere! entertain me, you slaves!"
"GODDESS SAROYA! THERE'S A SHIP COMING DOWN FROM THE SKY, AND THERE'S A GIANT BEAM ON IT AS WELL!" Saroya rushed through the crowd to the bow of the ship, where the entire skyline was now a dark color. "That's not just any ship - that's a Death Desert battleship! And the man on it… is that who I think it is!?"
The man, about age 13, smiled as his hair followed the direction of the ship - soaring down from the sky at full speed. A woman, about the same age as him, looked at the ground in mere stress. "We're going to get our ship destroyed as soon as we hit the ground! You awakened your powers not so long ago, so you'll be able to save us, right?"
The captain of the ship smiled. "You guys are strong - Death Desert is one of the most fortified nations now, so I bet you could show me your strength. We're here to help Kevin with the raid, but hopefully I get to see him again…" he continued. "He saved our country, and I'm going to save him next! I'll be going now, your objectives are to get over the border and survive until I get back on the scene."
The woman winced.
The teenager continued to walk across the ship, clapping his hands and changing the entire course of the sea. "HE'S COMING!" a man on the LUO ship exclaimed, running away from Saroya and preparing to jump into the water. "He'll cause a sonic boom if he touches the ground, we can't stick around for that power!"
The teen jumped off the ship, putting his fist in front of him and gaining traction as he soared down from the sky. "This is going to be a walk in the PARK!" he exclaimed, his power causing the sea to get even rougher than it was before. Saroya gasped, pulling out her sword and looking at the man who dared to mess with her forces. "The Death Desert government is going to be ours sooner than later! We're going to declare war on every single nation and create a new one, where slavery is key! YOU'LL NEVER DEFEAT US!" she exclaimed. On the other end of the ship, a 76 year old man adjusted his glasses, looking at the man who was charging an impending attack on his ship. "That's really him - a member of the Sunstone Trio has come to the Land Of Trila! That's Rian of DEATH DESERT!" he screamed at Saroya.
All the soldiers gasped, their faces filled with fear - they knew this would be the end. "I've been training for months on repeat, and now I would've saved my country from the hands of Aybara in just one lift of a finger! Now, I have someone to show my power to before they DIE!"
Saryoa smiled, rushing to the other side of the ship and jumping up in the sky to Rian's location. "I'll slash you before you even TOUCH my ship! We have 10,000 soldiers and growing, you'll never be a match for us when we declare war!"
Suddenly, the entire sea went silent. The only things that could be heard for a few seconds were the relaxing waves of the sea, and then everything came back to normal. "I'll have you in the sea in no time - SOUND DESTRUCTION!" he exclaimed.
"This is the end!" one of the soldiers exclaimed. "We have to retreat, Saroya! This is going to become a full-on war, and Jayden is going to get involved! We can't afford that until we get at least 50,000 soldiers, we're still a new company!"
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!" Saroya exclaimed, showing her power to Rian. "SALMON CUT!" she exclaimed, sending a slash of air that went straight at Rian.
Seconds later, it was all over. It was like a dream was happening in real time - Rian's attack had hit the LUO ship, not only destroying it entirely, but causing all the people on it to go deaf. Saroya, on the other hand, had been completely crushed by Rian along with her soldiers. Blood rushed out of her mouth as she fell into the sea, accepting her defeat and drowning shortly after. Then, a massive explosion engulfed the entire battlefield, the Death Desert battleship landing right outside of it. "HE UNLEASHED THE ATTACK! DEATH DESERT HAS STARTED A WAR!" the woman exclaimed. Shortly after, Rian could be seen sitting down on the bow of the ship, smiling as he looked at all the destruction. "For a war, this would be a really nice start. Let's just hope we win, though…"
