This is no ordinary explosion.
It's an abyss-like explosion.
This isn't alarmist, nor is it a simile, and certainly not an intertext.
It's a real "abyss."
Initially, people thought it was just a common latrine explosion—bigger in scope, more widespread, and more powerful than usual.
Aren't we all adults here? Who hasn't ever thought of igniting fireworks in an outhouse?
Facing the overwhelming yellow-brown filth, as if enveloped by the celestial galaxy, the citizens of Shura City remained calm and composed. They've been through quite a few storms; this was just a uniquely extravagant explosion. Can't I just use Spirit Qi to defend against it?
Aside from those unlucky souls who were blown to bits by the explosion, the majority of people were calmly defending themselves amidst the horror. It's just a continuous mass of excremental mountains; as long as I keep the Spirit Qi barrier up, what's the worst that could happen?
What could it do?!
