The Sea of Flames was a murky, dark red ocean. At first glance, it seemed no different from the reddish-brown earth surrounding it.
It had no tidal movement; without creatures stirring up waves, it was genuinely difficult to discern that it was a vast ocean.
Lin Shen, Ouyang Yudu, and Wei Wufu flew above the Sea of Flames. The air here was even more acrid, choking the lungs and making it feel as though they were on the brink of decay.
Both Wei Wufu and Ouyang Yudu were coughing, while Lin Shen was in far better condition. *Evolution Theory quickly adapted him to these environmental conditions.*
Wei Wufu and Ouyang Yudu had to resort to using carapaces, which filtered out most of the toxic gases harmful to their bodies.
But this brought forth a troubling issue: maintaining the carapaces required energy consumption. Unlike Lin Shen, they did not have access to Super Base Pattern skills and couldn't sustain this state indefinitely.
