On the eve of the official inauguration of the Joint Action Bureau, Yang Xiao and several other core members held an unofficial dinner. There were no outsiders or elders from the three families, just 5 young people who met and formally got to know each other.
As a commissioner of the Joint Action Bureau, Yang Xiao was undoubtedly the main character, sitting in the seat of honor. Out of courtesy, Yang Xiao gave the seats on either side to two ladies, Chi Dan to his left and a dignified woman in a slim-fitting cheongsam to his right.
This woman, whom Yang Xiao was meeting for the first time, was named Xi Yuru. She was locally nominated by the forces of Rongcheng and now also holds a position within the Joint Action Bureau.
Seated further out were Qu Muzhi and Fu Qingzhu, both of whom were old acquaintances of Yang Xiao.
