Lin Ning walked alone in the alley.
She had been transported into an underground city of the alien race. Various buildings were constructed inside a huge cave, along with all sorts of bizarre creatures, such as half-human half-bulls, horses, wild boars, and lions; or those with winged backs, three heads and six arms, green faces and sharp fangs... It was almost like a gathering of deformed mutants.
These mutants ambushed from the shadows of buildings or alleyways, waiting for human Transcendents to pass by, then they would burst out to launch surprise attacks. They didn't possess many supernatural abilities, but each of them was physically formidable; even if decapitated by the Flying Sword, they could continue fighting, which took Lin Ning quite some effort to defeat.
After experiencing several skirmishes, Lin Ning smartened up and kept the Invisibility Technique activated while navigating through the alleyways to avoid being detected by these mutants.
